Signing up for a LINE BITMAX Wallet account toggle
If you have a LINE account, you can sign up for LINE BITMAX Wallet. See this blog post for more details about signing up.
Note: There are no age restrictions for creating an account.

You need to have a LINE BITMAX Wallet account to use the LINE NFT service.

After signing up for LINE BITMAX Wallet, you'll also need accounts with the services below if you want to convert your LINK Rewards to LINK.
• LINE Pay
• LINE BITMAX
Note:
- You must be at least 20 years of age and under 75 to use LINE BITMAX.
- Identity verification with your smartphone is required.

Can I log in from multiple devices and browsers? toggle

You can only log in to your account from one device or browser at a time.

 

If you log in to the same account from a different device or browser, you'll need to verify your passcode. After logging in, you'll be logged out from any other device or browser you were using.

LINK is issued by LINE TECH PLUS PTE. LTD., a subsidiary of LINE Xenesis Corporation located in Singapore.

LINK rewards toggle
LINK rewards are tokens that companies participating in the LINK Reward Program issue to users for contributing to their services.

When you receive LINK rewards, you can apply to receive LINK on LINE BITMAX Wallet.
Note: LINK rewards are displayed as exchangeable LINK on LINE BITMAX Wallet.

To receive LINK, you need to open an account for the LINE BITMAX service. Also, you can only receive LINK for a limited period of time, so be sure to receive your LINK before the expiration date.
Note: LINK rewards cannot be exchanged for LINK after the expiration date.

Checking your LINK rewards toggle

You can check your LINK rewards from the LINE BITMAX Wallet main menu by going to Tokens > Exchangeable LINK.

 

For questions related to the issuing of LINK rewards, we ask that you contact the issuing service, the provider of the service that you received LINK rewards for, or the campaign provider.

Exchanging LINK rewards for LINK toggle
Before you can exchange LINK rewards for LINK, you need to open an account for the LINE BITMAX service. After doing so, follow the steps below.

1. From the LINE BITMAX Wallet main menu, select Tokens > Exchangeable LINK under LINK/LN.
2. After confirming the details, select Receive and enter your passcode.
Note:
- It can take up to several minutes to receive your LINK, depending on the status of the service.
- You can also exchange LINK rewards for LINK by enabling the Auto Accept setting.

About the Auto Accept setting toggle
The Auto Accept setting automatically applies to accept LINK for your LINK rewards.

You can configure this setting by going to the LINE BITMAX Wallet main menu and selecting Tokens > Exchangeable LINK under LINK/LN.

If you have any LINK rewards when you turn on Auto Accept, an application will automatically be made to accept LINK for all of them.
Note: If Auto Accept is turned off, you need to apply to accept LINK yourself.

Checking LINK exchanged from LINK rewards toggle
When you exchange your LINK rewards for LINK, it's reflected in your LINE BITMAX wallet.

You can check the amount of LINK you have using either of the following methods:
• From the LINE BITMAX Wallet main menu, select Tokens and check the LINK/LN section.
• Select Wallet from the LINE BITMAX main menu.

Note: You can only use LINE BITMAX Wallet to check the amount of LINK that you have. To buy/sell LINK, use the LINE BITMAX service.

Expiration date for receiving LINK toggle
To check the expiration date for receiving LINK:
1. From the LINE BITMAX Wallet main menu, select Tokens > Exchangeable LINK under LINK/LN.
2. Check the due date for your LINK rewards.

Note: If your exchangeable LINK's expiration date is exceeded, you will no longer be able to exchange it for LINK.

Times when LINK rewards can't be exchanged toggle
You cannot exchange LINK rewards for LINK during maintenance periods (e.g. scheduled LINE BITMAX maintenance, special LINE BITMAX Wallet maintenance).

Sending tokens and items toggle
To send tokens or items: 
1. From the LINE BITMAX Wallet main menu, select the digital asset you want to send from Tokens or Items.
2. Enter the amount you want to send.
3. Select where you want to send the digital asset or enter the recipient's Wallet address.
4. Tap Confirm and enter your passcode.

Can I send items and tokens to friends that don't have a LINE BITMAX Wallet account? toggle
You can send items and tokens to friends on LINE, even if they haven't created a LINE BITMAX Wallet account yet.
Note:
- You can only send digital assets to friends who are using a Japanese LINE account.
- Some tokens and items cannot be sent.

When you send a friend a token or an item, they will be notified about it in a LINE chat message from LINE BITMAX Wallet. They can check the digital asset that they received after signing up for the LINE BITMAX Wallet service.

It may take some time to send digital assets between LINE BITMAX Wallet accounts. If this status appears, please wait until the process is completed.

A transaction in my history says it failed toggle
When sending digital assets between LINE BITMAX Wallet accounts, a transaction will appear as failed if it can't be sent for any reason. If a transaction fails, the digital asset will be returned to the sender's LINE BITMAX Wallet account.

An item or token that I'm sending no longer appears toggle
If an item or token no longer appears as "in progress" in LINE BITMAX Wallet, it could mean either of the following:
• The digital asset was sent successfully.
• The digital asset failed to send and was canceled.

Account

Deleting your LINE BITMAX Wallet account toggle
Deleting your LINE BITMAX Wallet account will erase all of your account information. We suggest using your digital assets or sending them to another wallet before deleting your account.
Note: If any digital assets remain in an account that is deleted, those assets will belong to LINE Xenesis Corporation.

To delete your account:
1. From the LINE BITMAX Wallet main menu, tap More > Settings > Delete account.
2. Tap Delete account in the notification you receive from the LINE BITMAX Wallet Notifications (LINE BITMAX Wallet通知) official account.
3. Read the important notes about deleting your account and check the box to indicate your agreement.
4. Tap Delete account.

Please take care if you are using the services below.

• LINE BITMAX
You need to delete your LINE BITMAX account before your LINE BITMAX Wallet account can be deleted.

• LINE NFT
Deleting your LINE BITMAX Wallet account will delete your LINE NFT account, so be sure to check whether you have any incomplete payments or items registered for sale.

You can continue to use LINE BITMAX Wallet even if you unlink it from other services.
Note: You will not be able to use LINE BITMAX Wallet if you delete your LINE account.

If you want to delete your LINE NFT account, however, you need to delete your LINE BITMAX Wallet account first.

LINE BITMAX Wallet is only provided for use in Japan. If you are using LINE in a different country, you will be restricted from using the service.

You can continue using LINE BITMAX Wallet if you start using your LINE account in Japan again.

What happens to my digital assets when my LINE BITMAX Wallet account is deleted? toggle
Deleting your LINE BITMAX Wallet account while still holding digital assets will relinquish your ownership of those assets. Any relinquished digital assets will belong to LINE Xenesis Corporation.

Changing your passcode toggle
To change your passcode:
From the main menu, tap More > Settings > Change passcode.

I forgot my passcode toggle

If you forgot your passcode, try resetting it by following the steps below.

 

To reset your passcode:

1. Tap Forgot your passcode? on the screen to enter your passcode.

2. Tap Send to have a verification code sent to your linked LINE account via chat message.

3. Enter the verification code in the input field that appears on your browser and select Verify.

4. Set a new passcode.

 

The verification code input field will no longer appear if you close the passcode reset screen before entering the verification code. If you're unable to perform the steps above in the LINE app, try resetting your passcode from LINE BITMAX Wallet for web browsers.

I was locked out of my account for entering an incorrect passcode too many times toggle

Your account will be locked if you enter the wrong passcode five times. You can reset your passcode after verifying your identity.

 

To reset your passcode:

1. Tap Reset passcode.

2. Tap Send to have a verification code sent to your linked LINE account via chat message.

3. Enter the verification code that was sent in a LINE chat and set a new passcode.

 

The verification code input field will no longer appear if you close the passcode reset screen before entering the verification code. If you're unable to perform the steps above in the LINE app, try resetting your passcode from LINE BITMAX Wallet for web browsers.
