Features of LINE LIVE
• Make broadcasts more exciting with LIVE stickers and filters
You can give personalized performances using LIVE stickers (which use facial recognition to change with your movements and expressions) and stylish filters. Switching between LIVE stickers and filters is easy, even in the middle of your broadcast.

• Send comments, hearts, and items to support broadcasters
Viewers can participate in live broadcasts by sending comments and hearts in real time. You can also purchase and send items, which send a large number of cheer points to the broadcaster at once. Show how much you like a broadcast with comments, hearts, or items.

In LINE LIVE, each broadcaster has their own channel, and popular channels with lots of cheer points or viewers move up in the ranking.

Viewers who send a lot of cheer points will also raise their fan ranking, increasing their chances of being noticed by their favorite broadcasters.

• Follow channels so you'll never miss a broadcast
Follow your favorite channels (broadcasters) to get a notification when their live broadcasts start so you'll never miss them!

Services such as broadcasting, watching videos, and posting comments are free of charge. However, data usage fees for connecting to the network are the responsibility of the user.

Do I need to sign in to use LINE LIVE? toggle
You don't need to sign in to watch videos, but you will need to sign in to broadcast videos, post comments, send hearts, and follow channels.

What is the Me screen? toggle
On the Me screen, you can see your notifications and what videos you viewed in the past, as well as create or edit your own channel, and add coins to your LIVE Coin balance.

About hearts toggle

Hearts are digital items you can send to support your favorite broadcasters.

 

When you send 10 hearts, a cheer point is also automatically sent to the broadcaster. The number of cheer points you've sent determines your fan ranking.

Recommended system specifications for LINE LIVE toggle
To use LINE LIVE, you need to update the OS on your device to the latest version.
Note: Some smartphones may be able to use LINE LIVE with an older OS version.

Depending on your device type and where you are using the app, you may not be able to use LINE LIVE even with the recommended system specifications. 
Note: iPod Touch and iPad are not supported.

Please also note that LINE LIVE cannot be used offline (e.g. without an internet connection).

Recommended specifications:

iOS 11.0 or later (on iPhone 5s or later)
Android OS 5.0 or later
Note: These are the environments in which the latest version can be installed.

About channel rankings toggle
Rankings appear in the Trending, Weekly, and Monthly tabs when calculations for their respective periods are completed. Each tab is updated as follows.

Trending
Rankings are updated periodically, and broadcasts made in the past 24 hours are eligible to be included in ranking calculations.

Weekly
Rankings are updated every week on Monday at 5 am. Broadcasts made between 12 am on Monday and 23:59:59 on Sunday of the previous week are eligible to be included in ranking calculations for that week.

Monthly
Rankings are updated on the first day of every month at 5 am. Broadcasts made between 12 am on the first day and 23:59:59 on the last day of the previous month are eligible to be included in ranking calculations for that month.

Overall
Eligible channels are ranked in order of most cheer points received during the applicable period.

Broadcast
Eligible channels are ranked in order of most broadcast viewers during the applicable period.

Category rankings
Eligible channels are ranked in order of most cheer points received during the applicable period.
Note: If a broadcaster has made broadcasts in multiple categories, they will only be ranked in the category that was selected most often for their 10 most recent broadcasts.

To check which version of the app you’re using: 
1. Tap the My Page (silhouette) icon at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap the Settings icon at the top right > About LINE LIVE.

What happens if I sign out or reinstall the LINE LIVE app? toggle
Signing in again with the same LINE or Twitter account you used before allows you to keep using all of your old LINE LIVE data.

If you're using the smartphone version of LINE LIVE, you can also transfer your data to the PC version by signing in to LINE LIVE on your PC with the same LINE account. However, please note that LIVE Coins for the LINE LIVE app can't be used on the PC version.

How does the fan ranking system work? toggle
Fan ranking is determined by the number of cheer points sent during live broadcasts.

The two types of fan rankings are described below.

Monthly Fan ranking
Fans are displayed in order from most to least cheer points sent in a month.
Note: This count is reset on the 1st day of every month.

Total Fan ranking
Fans are displayed in order from most to least cheer points sent in total.

Star LIVER badge toggle
Broadcasters that get 200,000 cheer points or more in a month (from 12:00 am on the first of the month to 11:59:59 pm on the last day of the month) and pass our internal review will receive a Star LIVER badge on the tenth day of the following month.

Even if you receive a Star LIVER badge, it won't appear for the next month if your monthly cheer point total falls below 200,000.
Note:
- The criteria for receiving Star LIVER badges is subject to change in the future. Any changes made will follow an announcement made in advance.
- We do not disclose our review criteria.

My hearts aren't increasing toggle
The maximum number of hearts you can have at any time is 100, and you can earn up to 100 hearts per hour as a bonus (e.g. viewing bonus).
