Apply/delete LINE Pay card

Applying for a LINE Pay card toggle
You can apply for a LINE Pay card in LINE Pay.

To apply for a card, you just need to enter your name and address. Your card will be sent by surface mail to the address you entered in your application, and usually takes around one or two weeks to arrive. 

Once you receive your LINE Pay card, you can start using it after activating it in LINE Pay.
Note: If you already have a virtual card, you will be restricted from using it to make payments online until you have activated your LINE Pay card.

You can remove the restriction temporarily by tapping the card number at the top of the LINE Pay main menu and switching For Online Use ON. This will remove the restriction for one hour, after which it will automatically be applied again.

I can't get a LINE Pay card issued toggle
Only one LINE Pay card can be issued per LINE account, so if you already have a card, you won't be able to apply for any more.

Also, you may be restricted from having a card issued if you've deleted multiple cards within a certain period of time.

I haven't received my LINE Pay card toggle
The LINE Pay card will be received approximately one to two weeks by mail after the date of application. There may be a delay depending on your area of residence. We appreciate your patience.

My LINE Pay card was stolen/lost/damaged toggle
If your card was stolen, lost, or damaged, please deactivate it by following the steps below:

1. Tap the card number at the top of the LINE Pay main menu.
2. Tap the switch next to Use Card.
Note: The switch may not respond if you swipe it instead of tapping it.
3. Tap OK on the "Deactivate your card?" pop-up.

To use a LINE Pay card again, you will need to delete the deactivated card and apply for a new one.

Deleting a LINE Pay card toggle
If you want to delete your LINE Pay card, you can do so from LINE Pay.
Note: You will still keep your LINE Pay balance even if you delete your LINE Pay card.

You can apply to use a LINE Pay card again, but please be aware that the card number will change. Also, you won't be able to use a virtual card unless you re-apply for a LINE Pay card.

To delete your LINE Pay card:
1. Tap the card number at the top of the LINE Pay main menu.
2. Tap Delete Card.

Having a LINE Pay card reissued toggle
You can have a LINE Pay card reissued by deleting your card and applying for a new one. Please be aware that your card number will change.

Also, if you apply for multiple cards within a certain period of time, you may be restricted from having another card issued.
