You can add money to your LINE Pay card by adding money to your LINE Pay balance.

Adding money & withdrawing
You can add money to your LINE Pay card at the checkout counters of Lawson convenience stores (including Natural Lawson and Lawson Store 100 locations) all over Japan.
Before adding money, make sure you've activated your LINE Pay card and are currently able to use it. After doing so, follow the steps below.
To add money:
1. Tell the clerk the amount you want to add and swipe your LINE Pay card in the direction of the arrow on the card reader, or show your card to the clerk.
Note: You can add a minimum of JPY 1,000 or a maximum of JPY 49,000 at one time. Money can be added in increments of JPY 1 and using cash only.
2. Pay for the amount you want to add.
3. Collect your receipt.
After you've added money, your LINE Pay balance will be updated in real time.
Note: Once this transaction has been completed, it cannot be canceled.
You can add money from a Seven Bank ATM.
In order to add money to your LINE Pay card, it must have been activated and still be valid. After making sure your card can be used, please refer to the steps below.
Note:
- You can add money in increments of JPY 1,000 in cash only. The minimum you can add each time is JPY 1,000.
- There are different limits set for LINE Money and Cash accounts. Please see this page for more information.
To add money:
1. Insert your LINE Pay card at a Seven Bank ATM.
2. Select the ご入金 (Deposit) option and put the cash into the ATM.
3. Take your LINE Pay card.
Once you have finished adding money, the amount will show up in your LINE Pay balance in real time.
Important: After this transaction has been completed, it cannot be canceled.

If you have a LINE Money account, you can use your LINE Pay account to withdraw money. You will not be able to use this feature if you have a LINE Cash account.
By changing to a LINE Money account, you can make withdrawals and have access to many other features. Please see this Help article for details.
To withdraw money, please follow the steps below.
Note: You need to set a 4-digit PIN for your LINE Pay card beforehand. Please see here for more information.
To withdraw money:
1. Insert your LINE Pay card at a Seven Bank ATM.
2. From the Seven Bank ATM, select ご出金 (Withdraw).
3. Enter the 4-digit PIN you set for your LINE Pay card.
4. Enter an amount between JPY 1,000 and JPY 10,000.
5. Take your cash and LINE Pay card.

You will not be able to withdraw from a Seven Bank ATM using your LINE Pay card in any of the following situations:
• You exceeded the maximum amount to withdraw.

• Your LINE Pay account is deactivated.
