About LINE Pay virtual cards toggle
Virtual cards are JCB brand prepaid cards issued by LINE Pay exclusively for online shopping. Payments are made from your LINE Pay balance, which you add money to yourself, so you don't have to worry about overdrafts.
Note: At physical stores, you can make code payments or use your physical LINE Pay card.

Using a virtual card toggle
Virtual cards can only be used with online JCB merchants.

To use your virtual card:
1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap LINE Pay Card.
2. Enter your passcode.
3. Tap the icon to the right of the card number to copy it.
4. Paste the card number in the credit card number field on the website of the store you're using.
5. Enter the other necessary card information (e.g. CVC, expiration date, name).

Creating a virtual card toggle
If you don't have a physical LINE Pay card: 
1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap LINE Pay Card > Create a virtual card.
2. Enter your passcode to complete the process, and you can start using your virtual card right away.

If you already have a physical LINE Pay card, you can use that card and don't need to create a virtual one.

To check your card number: 
1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap LINE Pay Card.
2. Enter your passcode.

Do my LINE Pay card and virtual card share the same number? toggle
Yes; if you are using both a physical LINE Pay card and virtual card, they will share the same card number, CVC, and expiration date.

If my physical LINE Pay card is reissued, will my virtual card's information also change? toggle
Yes, the information on your virtual card will change to match your reissued LINE Pay card.

After creating a virtual card, will I also get a physical card with the same number? toggle
If you apply for a LINE Pay card after creating a virtual card, you'll be issued a physical LINE Pay card with the same information (card number, CVC, and expiration date) as your virtual card.

Please understand that, in order to ensure secure use, you will not be able to make online payments until you activate your physical LINE Pay card.

I can't create a virtual card toggle
Only one virtual card can be created per LINE account, so if you already have a virtual card, you won't be able to add another one.

Also, you may be restricted from having a card issued if you've deleted multiple cards within a certain period of time.

If you don't already have a virtual card and are unable to create one, please contact us via the Inquiry Form.

Deactivating or deleting your virtual card toggle
To deactivate your virtual card:
1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap LINE Pay Card.
2. Enter your passcode > turn Use card OFF.
3. Tap OK on the pop-up message.

To delete your virtual card:
1. From the LINE Pay main menu, tap LINE Pay Card.
2. Enter your passcode > tap Delete card.
3. Tap Delete card on the confirmation screen > OK.

Important: When you deactivate or delete your virtual card, your physical LINE Pay card also becomes invalid.
