LINE MUSIC for Artists Help Center

To view data for an artist that is not associated with any account on LINE MUSIC for Artists, you need to apply for a new artist team.

To apply for an artist team:

1. Click the team name that appears at the top left of the screen.

Note: If you don't belong to any artist team, click Apply for artist team from the Home screen.

2. Click Add team at the bottom of the menu.

3. Review the information required for the application and click Proceed to application.

4. On the artist settings screen, search for the relevant artist you're applying for and click Next.

5. Enter the basic information and click Next.

6. Link the account for review and click Submit request.

An artist team will be established only after LINE MUSIC confirms that the applying account is affiliated with the artist. The applying account will also be designated as the administrator.

If you select an artist who already has an established artist team, you will not be able to apply for one. In this case, request an invitation from the existing artist team's administrator.

The following information is required to apply for an artist team.

General information

• Contact information (e.g. name, email address)

If you're affiliated with a music label, please use the email address provided to you by the label.

• Artist page link

Provide the page on the website of the distribution company, label, or record company that is streaming the songs, where a link to the associated social media account can be confirmed.

One of the following accounts for review

• TuneCore Japan

• BIG UP!

• At least two official social media accounts (e.g. YouTube, Google, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram)

Important:

• The artist you're setting up a team for needs to already be registered on LINE MUSIC.

• If you're unable to verify artist information from a TuneCore Japan or BIG UP! account, we will proceed to review your official social media accounts.

• If we review your official social media accounts, we will send you the results via email at a later date.
