By adding one of the following cards to Google Pay on a compatible device, you can use the service at merchants that support Visa contactless payments and merchants bearing the "iD" logo.

• Visa LINE Pay credit card
• Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+)
• Visa LINE Pay prepaid card

Tell the cashier that you want to make a Visa contactless payment or an iD payment, then hold your Google Pay-compatible device over the scanning terminal.
Note:
- You may need to unlock your device to make Visa contactless payments.
- Some devices (such as Google Pixel) may need to be unlocked to make iD payments.

Also, you need to set a four-digit passcode which you'll be required to enter when making purchases of JPY 30,000 or more. For more details, see the following Help article.

Adding your card to Google Pay

To make online payments with Google Pay, you'll need to do one of the following:
• Register an additional payment method on the Google Pay website.
• Download the Google Wallet app and register your information.

Note: The "iD" logo and "iD Prepaid" are registered trademarks of NTT DOCOMO, INC.

To make online payments with Google Pay, you'll need to do one of the following:

If you're using your Visa LINE Pay prepaid card with Google Pay, you may not be able to use your card at vending machines, gas stations, or some other merchants. For more information, see the following page. (Only available in Japanese.)

If you added a Visa LINE Pay credit card or Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+) to Google Pay, make sure that:

• There are no issues with your card.

• The device you set your card on supports Google Pay.

If you added a Visa LINE Pay prepaid card to Google Pay, make sure that:

• There are no issues with your card and you have a sufficient balance.

• The card is set as your main card on a device that supports Google Pay. (If it isn't, please make it the main card.)

• You have a four-digit passcode set/entered when you make purchases of JPY 30,000 or more at iD merchants.

• You aren't trying to use Google Pay to make payments at any of the following:

- Vending machines

- Gas stations

- Some hotels

- Manned highway tollbooths
