You won't be able to delete your LINE Pay account right away if any of the following situations apply to you.
Note: LINE Pay accounts can no longer be created as of November 29, 2024. If you delete your LINE Pay account, you will not be able to create a new one.
• Your LINE Pay account has been suspendedReactivate your LINE Pay account by following the steps in
this Help article, then delete it.
• There is a remaining balance in your LINE Pay accountIf you have a remaining balance in your LINE Pay account, please make sure to have it refunded to your designated bank account before deleting your account. For information on how to have your balance refunded, see
this page. (Only available in Japanese.)
If you don't need to have your balance refunded, you can also forfeit it and then delete your account.
Note: Any forfeited balance cannot be restored.
You cannot delete your LINE Pay account yourself if you transferred your LINE account:
• Using a phone number from a different country.
• To an OS that is not supported by LINE Pay.
Note: LINE Pay is not supported on OSes other than iOS and Android (e.g. Windows Phone).
You will not be able to delete your LINE Pay account yourself if either of the two situations above applies to you. In these cases, please contact
Customer Care and we will delete your LINE Pay account for you.
