Earning/using Visa LINE Pay credit card (including P+) Points
The points you earn when using your Visa LINE Pay credit card or Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+), have changed from LINE Points to V Points, starting with your usage from May 1, 2025. There have also been some changes to the percentage of Points you earn back.

About LINE Points for usage through April 30, 2025
For purchases made using:• Add & Pay code payments, Points will be calculated for each transaction during the month (from the first to the end of the month) you used your Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+) and issued to you in a lump sum on around the 20th of the following month.
• Visa contactless payments, payments via insertion-style card readers, and iD payments, Points are issued within a few days of the date you see in your history on the Vpass online service for Sumitomo Mitsui credit card holders. (Only available in Japanese.)
You will not receive a notification message from the LINE Wallet official account when your Points are issued.
Note: For details about your usage history or payments, you need to log in to your Vpass account.
To check the Points you've received, go to the LINE main menu > Wallet > LINE POINT CLUB > History.
Note: You will not be issued Points if your LINE account's verified country is changed from Japan to any other country before Points are issued.

• Online payments and Pay bill payments.
• Code payments made with Add & Pay after you've earned 500 Points in the current month.

If you were not issued Points, it's possible that:
• The Points haven't been issued yet.
The period for when Points are issued differs depending on the card and payment method you used. See the following Help articles for more information.
When are Visa LINE Pay credit card Points issued?
When are Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+) Points issued?
• The card you used wasn't registered to your LINE Pay account.
You will not earn Points for any purchases made with your card before it is registered to your LINE Pay account.
Note: For family cards, Points will be issued to the account that the cards were added to.
• You made a transaction that doesn't earn you Points.
Depending on the product or service you purchased, you may not be eligible to receive Points. For information on which transactions do not earn Points, see the following Help article.
Point eligibility for Visa LINE Pay credit card/Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+) payments
Also, if you make an Add & Pay purchase with your Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+), you'll only earn Points for code payments.
Note: You will not receive Points for LINE Pay online payments or Pay bill payments.
• You've already earned the maximum number of Points possible.
You can earn up to 500 Points per month for using Add & Pay to make code payments with your Visa LINE Pay credit card (P+).
• You changed your LINE account's registered country before receiving Points.
You will not earn Points if you change your LINE account's verified country to anywhere but Japan.
To check your Point balance and history, go to the LINE main menu > Wallet > LINE POINT CLUB.
If some parts of a payment appear as canceled in your LINE Pay payment history and you don't receive the correct number of Points, contact us from this Inquiry Form.
