Logging out of LINE for PC

To log out of LINE for PC:

1. Click "..." at the bottom of the main menu.

2. Click Log out.

If you are logged in to LINE for PC with an account you created on the smartphone app, you can also log out from the smartphone version by following the steps below.

1. Tap the Home tab > Settings.

2. Tap Account > Devices.

3. Tap Log out.

I was suddenly logged out of LINE for PC

You may be logged out of LINE for PC if:

• Your account was logged in to from another PC.

• The email address and password used to log in to your account were changed from the smartphone version of LINE.

• Your registered phone number was changed from the smartphone version of LINE.

• You were logged out of LINE for PC from the smartphone version of LINE.

• Your account was deleted from the smartphone version of LINE.

• You were disconnected from the network.

• LINE for PC is idle for a certain amount of time.

An identity verification code appears

We have added enhanced security to LINE for PC to prevent unauthorized LINE logins.

If you see a verification code when you log in to LINE for PC, you will need it to verify your identity on the smartphone version of LINE.

To verify your identity:

1. Start LINE for PC.

2. Log in using your email address or the QR code option.

Note: The verification code will appear on LINE for PC after entering your email address and password or scanning the QR code.

3. Start LINE on your smartphone and enter the verification code that appears on LINE for PC.

Can I log in to LINE for PC if I can't use LINE on my smartphone?

You cannot log in to your account with LINE for PC if you are unable to use LINE on your smartphone.
