You can join an existing group call by following one of the steps below.
• Select Join at the top of the group chat with the existing call > OK. • Click the phone icon or video call icon at the upper right of the message entry field. • When you receive a message to start the call, click Join > OK.
1. At the bottom of the screen, click Share screen.
2. Click Your screen.
3. Choose the screen you want to share and click Share.
Click the pencil icon in the on-screen menu to write on the screen you're sharing.
When someone doodles on the screen, their profile icon and name will be displayed for 5 seconds. You can also check who made a doodle by placing your mouse cursor over it after clicking the Move icon.
Note:
- To stop sharing your screen, click Stop sharing.
- You cannot use the screen sharing feature if someone else is already sharing their screen or a video.
Changing the size and position of the incoming call screen
In the latest version of LINE for PC, incoming calls can be displayed as a small notification at the bottom right of the screen.
Note: Update LINE for PC to the latest version here.
To enable/disable this option:
1. At the bottom of the main menu, click "..." > Settings.
2. Click Calls and check/uncheck Show notifications for incoming calls.
Leave Show notifications for incoming calls checked if you prefer incoming calls to be displayed as small notifications at the bottom right of the screen.
Creating, deleting, and inviting others to LINE meetings
You can make group video calls with other LINE users, regardless of whether you've added them as friends.
To create a meeting:
1. Click the Meeting icon from the main menu.
2. Click Create meeting.
The meeting will appear in the meeting list as "XXXX's meeting," with the user name of the person who created it. You can edit the meeting's name by clicking the pencil icon.
To delete a meeting, go to your meeting list and click "X" next to the meeting you want to delete > Delete.
To invite someone to a meeting:
• Click Invite and select the friend you want to invite.
• Use an invitation link by clicking Copy link and sharing it with the person you want to invite.
Note: Users that aren't your friends on LINE can also join the meeting from the invitation link.
- If you're a minor or haven't finished verifying your age, you will not be able to use LINE meetings.
- The meeting's creator can also click Start from the meeting list.
2. On the preview screen, turn your camera and microphone ON or OFF.
Note:
- You can set a background effect or filter on the preview screen.
- If you choose to join without video, your profile photo will be shown instead.
- You can join a meeting with your microphone turned OFF and then turn it ON later.
3. Confirm that you agree to have your display name and profile photo shown.
After a meeting has started, you can use the on-screen icons to confirm the number of people currently participating, add new participants, and turn your audio and video ON or OFF.
You can also set a filter or background effect in Video settings. Clicking Share screen lets you share your screen.
To end a meeting, click End call at the bottom of the meeting screen.
