Frequently asked questions for LINE Melody's partners

We would like to inform you that in the event that any partner wishes to delete any Melody content from the LINE Melody platform, you will have two (2) options to choose as follows:

1. Partners can delete the melody content that you want by yourself through your LINE Melody user account. In this regard, the partners must notify a list of melody contents and the artists’ name prior to at least 10 (ten) business days through dl_linemelody@linecorp.com with the following details. Once you have finished deleting the melody content, you must immediately notify us via email.

1.1) Name of the music label which is the copyright owner or licensee of the melody content

1.2) Name of the melody from which the content was deleted

1.3) Artist Name

1.4) Melody ID (if any)

1.5) The date on which the melody content was deleted

2. In the event that the partner’s Melody user account has a problem causing the partner to be unable to delete the melody content or when the partner wishes to delete the numerous numbers of melody contents, the partners can send a request to us to consider deleting melody content on your behalf. In this respect, you must submit a request through dl_linemelody@linecorp.com at least 30 (thirty) business days in advance before the date on which you wish us to delete the content. In this regard, you must specify at least the following details for our acknowledgment:

2.1) Name of the music label which is the copyright owner or licensee of the melody content

2.2) Name of the melody you wish to delete

2.3) Artist name

2.4) Melody ID (if any)

2.5) The date on which the melody content is intended to be deleted

We reserve the right not to proceed with your request if we find that the details you have sent to us are incorrect, insufficient, or are not compliant with the requirements as specified by us, and we are not responsible for any damages incurred.
