Why do the LINE game applications use the user information from LINE messenger

Your personal information is only used when competing against your friends in LINE or collaborating with them in the game.

Can I carry over my game data when I change devices?

Players who log in with LINE/Apple/Google/Facebook can log in on a new device using an account set up for data transfer and continue playing with their previous game data even after changing their device.

- Please note that the Rubies you own will only be carried over if your old device and new device use the same OS.

- Please also note that it is only possible to carry over the rights to claim your rewards for packages if your old device and new device use the same OS.

- If the new device uses a different OS than the old device, your Rubies will not be carried over.

How can I play as a Guest after having logged in via LINE/Apple/Google/Facebook?

To log out, launch the LINE Rangers game app and go to Home > Settings > Account > Connect account.

Or, from the LINE app, go to Home > Settings > Account > Authorized apps and select "LINE Rangers," tap "Unlink," restart the game app, and you should be able to play as a guest.

Please be aware that Guest Play data, including purchased items, can be lost as a result of changing your device, resetting your OS, or for a multitude of other reasons.

Please try to play using LINE Login whenever possible.

- You can only use the Guest Play option on the iOS version.

Also, data for players who log in via LINE/Apple/Google/Facebook will not be deleted when they log out. Logging in with the same account allows a player to play using their previous save data.

How do I link my current Guest Play game data to an account?

You can link guest play data to an account that has never been linked before to protect your current save data.

However, you cannot link data to an account that already has data linked to it. If you log in with that account, you may lose your current guest login data.

1. Start the LINE Rangers app

2. Go to Home > Settings > Account > Connect account and select an account to link

- It is not possible to transfer data to an account that already has other existing data associated with it.

If you choose an account with existing data, your current guest game data will be deleted and the game will start with the past save data.

Please note that guest data cannot be transferred if you changed to another device. As such, we recommend linking an account.

- Please note that guest mode is only available on iOS devices. You may not be able to use guest mode on Android devices depending on your region.

I lost some of my Rubies after changing smartphones.

Rubies purchased or obtained before changing devices

cannot be carried over if you transfer your account to a device with a different OS (for example, from iOS to Android).

If you log in with a linked LINE/Apple/Google/Facebook account after changing to another device with the same OS, you will be able to keep and continue using the Rubies you had.

My game data got reset after changing smartphones.

Using the menu "Settings > Help > Support > Contact Us > Inquiry",

you can restore your reset game data.

※ Restorable data includes Level, Rangers, Upgrades, Stages, Treasures, and Collections information.

However, Gift Box and Friends information cannot be restored.

Those who played using LINE Login before changing devices will have to install and log in to the LINE messenger app on the new device with the same account used on the previous device.

If you don't take the above step, your LINE Rangers game data will be deleted.

Can I play the game without a LINE account?

It is possible to log in with Apple/Google/Facebook or play in Guest Play mode.

However, you can't compete with your friends in the rankings when playing in Guest Play mode.

What is Account Deletion?

It's a feature that lets you delete your current game data.

If you delete your account, you will lose everything related to your game, such as your balance of paid items, your purchased items, and your game progress.

You won't be able to restore your data via backup or data transfer.

Please make sure there will be no problems before deleting your account.

■ Account Deletion Process

1. From Settings, go to Account and tap Manage Account.

2. Tapping the Account Deletion button will bring up the Account Deletion Agreement screen.

3. Add a check to "I consent to the above." after carefully reading the notes.

4. You can cancel the account deletion at this time by tapping Cancel.

5. If you tap OK, the following confirmation screens will be displayed one after another. Please check them carefully to be sure you really want to proceed with the account deletion.

　　- Loss of Paid Items Balance Confirmation

6. If you have no problems with the information contained in step 5, tap "Yes."

7. The final confirmation screen for account deletion will be displayed. If you tap "Execute Deletion," the account will be deleted in its entirety. There is no way to restore data after account deletion is executed.

- Account deletion will not be executed until you tap "Execute Deletion" in step 7. Please read the notes and be careful not to make any mistakes.

What is account overwriting?

Account overwriting is a feature that lets you transfer game data linked to an account other than a LINE account over to a LINE account.

When transferring data to a LINE account, any existing data that is already linked to the LINE account will be deleted. Please be certain to read the notes before continuing.

■ Account Linking Change Process

1. From Settings, go to Account and tap Manage Account.

2. Tap the Change Account Link/Logout button.

3. Tap the Change Account Link button.

4. The LINE authentication screen will be displayed. If there are no problems, tap "Allow."

5. If there is no data linked to the LINE account that you will be linking to, the data will be transferred to that account. Before the transfer, the link with the old account will be cancelled.

6. If there is already data on the LINE account, a data selection screen will be displayed. Select the data you wish to keep, and you can overwrite other data linked to the LINE account.

The linking with the account that was linked before the transfer will be undone.

- If you execute an account overwrite, the old data will be deleted. There is no way to restore data that has been deleted. Please be sure to confirm there will be no problems before proceeding.
