Guild Wars

Guild Wars are a separate game mode where your guild and other guilds fight it out to see who's the best!

You can take guild points from opponents you're matched with by attacking them, and the side with the most guild points at the end wins!

These battles take place 3 times a week, and you can get rewards based on how many wins you get.

Check below for details on rewards.

■ Notes

- As a rule, guilds that apply for participation are matched on a one-on-one basis. In the event that a guild can't be matched with another guild, for example, due to there being an odd number of participating guilds, it will be matched against a Dummy guild.

Dummy guilds are created based on player guilds randomly selected from the same class.The results of such matches do not affect the records of the guilds used as the base to create the Dummy guilds.

Each Guild War season lasts one week, starting Monday and ending Sunday.

■ Monday

Period to apply to participate in the Guild War (10:00 - 11:59 the next day, GMT+9)

- Make defense teams

- Place the defense teams in a fortress (done by the Guild Master or Submaster)

- Apply to participate in Guild Wars (done by the Guild Master or Submaster)

- Wait to be matched with an opponent

First Guild Battle period

- Attack the fortresses of your opponent

- Check the results of the first Guild Battle

Guild Masters can apply to join the Guild War between Mon. 10:00 and Tue. 11:59 (GMT+9), after first placing guild members in fortresses at defense points.

Only Guild Masters and Submasters can place members at fortresses and apply to participate in Guild Wars.

■ Notes

- The Guild Master must place at least 1 guild member in each fortress to participate in a Guild War.

- Guild Masters and Submasters can only place guild members who have set up defense teams.

- Players who haven't displayed the guild page for 28 days and players who have left the guild can't be placed in fortresses.

The following will occur if a player leaves the guild after a Guild Master has set that player in a defense team.

- If the Guild Master doesn't change placements after the player leaves the guild, the player who left will still be placed in the defense team even after they have left.

- If the Guild Master goes to change placements after a placed player has left the guild, they will only be able to place current guild members, not the player who left.

Select an enemy fortress to see the buff set for it, the number of defense teams that remain there, and information about the defense teams that haven been placed there.

The buttons that appear indicate the following statuses.

Tap the [BATTLE] button on a fortress and the battle preparation screen will appear.

Tap [ATTACK] once you're ready to start the battle.

Here you can view information for the attack team and decide on items to use.

You can use an item for 200 Gems.

Battles have a time limit of 90 seconds.

Rangers placed as starting members will deploy as soon as the battle starts.

Other Rangers will randomly appear at the bottom of the screen, and you can deploy them at will once you have enough Mineral to do so.

Defeat the enemy Rangers and get to the enemy Tower to attack the Tower.

■ Tower HP

The amount of HP Towers have is as follows, with no regard to player level or Tower HP upgrades.

- First level: 300

- Second level: 400

- Third level: 600

Wins and losses are determined by the following conditions.

- The opposing Tower reaches 0 HP.

- Your Tower reaches 0 HP.

- The time remaining runs down to 0.

If the timer reaches 0, who wins and loses will be determined based on the following conditions.

- The side that has more Tower HP wins.

- If both players have the same amount of Tower HP, the player with more surviving Rangers wins.

- If both players have the same amount of Tower HP and the same number of surviving Rangers, the defending side wins.

If you succeed in destroying an opponent's Tower before the timer reaches 0, your battle score will increase slightly.

Battle rewards increase the deeper into enemy territory you get a victory. You will get extra Gems when you win.

■ Notes

- Tower HP goes down by 1 with each attack, but if there is an Elemental buff in effect, Towers will take more damage.

The amount of guild points you got based on the results of the battle is displayed.

The number of surviving Rangers and the damage dealt to the opposing Tower are converted into points and added together.

If you win the Guild War battle, you can get an extra reward and bonus points based on your battle results.

You can get an extra 10% point bonus applied to your total score if you brought the opposing Tower's HP down to 0 before time ran out.

■ Notes

Even if the day changes during a Guild War battle, Guild War results should be properly reflected.

However, there is a chance that a bug could cause results to not be properly reflected if the day changes during a battle, so if possible, try to finish battles before the end of the day.

When a Guild War ends after 1 week, Guild Battle results will be calculated on Monday during the period of 0:00 - 9:59 (GMT+9), and you will be able to see the results and rewards by going back to the Guild War screen after 10:00 (GMT+9) of the same day.

Rewards will be claimable up until 23:59 (GMT+9) on the following Sunday.

You can get Guild Medals based on your guild's war results. You can exchange these medals for your choice of rewards at the Swap Shop.

■ Rewards criteria

1. The more wins the guild you belong to has, the more Guild Rewards you will receive.

2. The higher your guild grade, the more Guild Rewards you will receive.

- Guild War grades are based on players' grades at the start of the season.

3. The higher your Contribution to your guild, the more Guild Rewards you will receive.

The ranking criteria for Contributions are applied in the below order, from 1-3.

1. Players with the most wins

2. Players who scored the most guild points themselves, not as a team

3. Players who joined a guild earlier

At the start of a Guild Battle, you can only attack first level fortresses.

If you win against a defense team placed at a main fortress 5 times, or 3 times at a regular fortress, you can defeat it, and if you defeat all of the defense teams you can destroy the fortress.

Destroying half or more of the fortresses or just the main fortress on a level allows you to attack the next level's fortresses.

Destroying all of the fortresses on a level gets you bonus guild points.

Any given player can only attack up to 2 times per day, regardless of whether they win or lose in those battles.

The deeper the level, the more guild points you can get for attacking.

Use the guild chat (accessible via the blue chat bubble at the top left) to communicate with guild members and attack opposing fortresses effectively to get as many guild points as possible!

If you can't defeat the opposing defense team, the attacking team will receive buffs, so don't give up! Keep trying as many times as it takes!

■ Fortress Destruction Guild Points

- First level

1 fortress destroyed: 400

All first level fortresses destroyed: 1,000

- Second level

1 fortress destroyed: 800

All second level fortresses destroyed: 1,200

- Third level

1 fortress destroyed: 1,500

All third level fortresses destroyed: 1,500

Note: As the third level only has 1 fortress, the number of guild points received are the same.

■ Notes

- You can't view fortress information for levels you haven't unlocked.

- If your guild attacks and is defeated, there will be no change in points for the enemy guild or your guild.

- If you leave during a battle, one attack will still be used up and you won't receive rewards.

Guild Wars have a variety of defense points with fortresses.

Defense points are structured as follows.

■ 1st level: Fortresses 1 - 6

- Fortresses: 6 (1 of the 6 will be the main fortress)

- Maximum guild members that can be placed at each fortress: 2

- Maximum guild members that can be placed in the whole level: 12

■ 2nd level: Fortresses 7 - 9

- Fortresses: 3 (1 of the 3 will be the main fortress)

- Maximum guild members that can be placed at each fortress: 3

- Maximum guild members that can be placed in the whole level: 9

■ 3rd level: Fortress 10

- Number of fortresses: 1

- Maximum guild members that can be placed: 4

■ Main fortresses

1 main fortress will appear on both the first and second levels.

On each of the first and second levels of a Guild War season, 1 fortress will be randomly selected as your main fortress.

If you destroy a level's main fortress, you won't need to destroy over half of the fortresses to go to the next level.

It's a good idea to think about all your fortresses overall, so that you get a good balance of defense team placements.

■ Buff effects

Each fortress has a buff associated with it, and if the right Rangers that correspond to that buff are placed there, you will be able to get the buff effect.

You can see the corresponding buffs at the bottom of each fortress icon, and also in the upper right corner of the fortress details screen.

Check the buffs and place the most appropriate guild members in each defense team.

There are 4 items you can use in Guild War battles.

Arrow Shower: Causes a downpour of arrows. Cancels enemy buffs.

Blessing: Cancels ally debuffs with a mysterious blessing. Increases ATK speed for a set period of time.

Forced Retreat: Moves the stage back. Sends enemies back to their Tower.

Vine Bind: Binds enemies with vines for a set period of time. Enemies can still attack within their ATK range while bound, but they cannot move.

You can buy battle items at the start of battles using Gems.

- When you use an item, you will have to wait a certain amount of time before you can use another.

Guild Wars has a grade system.

Guild War grades are determined by each week's war results, and the latest grades are displayed when the Guild War results are displayed.

The higher your Guild War grade is, the more war rewards, in the form of Guild Medals, you'll receive, and you'll get extra Rank Points in the Guild War rankings.

Guild Wars also has a Rankings table.

Guild War rankings are determined by how many Rank Points you have. How many points you get is based on your Guild War rank and results from the previous season.

You guild's rank is displayed under the guild name.
