2-step verification prevents unauthorized logins to your LINE Business ID by requiring additional verification via email or an authenticator app, in addition to entering your email address and password. Using 2-step verification when logging in with your business account can strengthen its security.
To turn on 2-step verification:
Check the 2-step verification section on your LINE Business ID profile page.
• If the status is turned on, 2-step verification is enabled.
• If the status is turned off, 2-step verification is not enabled.
By selecting Turn on 2-step verification, you'll be redirected to a page to set it up.
2-step verification options:
You can choose one of the following two verification options when logging in with 2-step verification, based on your usage environment or other circumstances.
• Email verification
• Authenticator app
Email verification:
By enabling Email verification, you'll be asked to enter a login code sent to your registered email address when logging in.
Authenticator app:
By enabling Authenticator app, you'll be asked to enter the verification code displayed on the authenticator app when logging in. To use this option, you need to set up the authenticator app in advance.
If you are unable to log in with 2-step verification due to situations such as your device being lost or broken, you can log in using a backup code. Please download the provided backup codes and store them in a safe location.
