Game Manual

These are the Obstacles and in-game features that will try come between you and sweet sweet victory.

Obstacles

Image	Name	Effect
	Waffle	There are different types of Waffles with different levels of resistance. Smash them so other Blocks can move into their space.
	Lock	These Blocks won't move until you unlock them. Set them free!
	Honey	Any Blocks covered with Honey will disappear. No special treatment for Special Blocks! They will go bye-bye too!
	Bomb	Boom! When the Bomb counter reaches 0, it's Game Over! Doesn't matter if you still have moves left!
	Fortune Cookie	Smash Fortune Cookies and random Blocks will pop out from inside. Sometimes you'll be lucky. Other times, not so much. May the odds be ever in your favor.
	Pinwheel	Pinwheels absorb the effect of some of the Special Blocks.
	Snowflake	Winter is coming...and Blocks will start freezing. If you break them once they are completely frozen, pieces of ice will fly everywhere and the ice will start spreading.
	Wall	Walls will stop you from moving Blocks into an specific direction.
	Chameleon	These Blocks won't stop changing colors!

In-game
features

Image	Name	Effect
	Warp Hole	Warp Holes instantly transport Blocks from one place to another in the screen. Blocks that go into the green Warp Hole will come out of a purple one.
	Honey Jar	These jars have honey inside and they are always overflowing. Only if they are surrounded by Waffles they will stop overflowing.
	Egg	Help LINE Friends to escape out of these strange Eggs. Hit Eggs by matching the surrounding Blocks or with Special Blocks to crack their shells.
	Chain	Chains separate the stage into two parts. Matching the Blocks of the characters displayed on them will unlock them.
	Boss	Boss loves chowing down on Blocks. Special Blocks are his favorite. Every 5 turns, he will have quick bite.
	Conveyor Belt	This Conveyor Belt will move Blocks around. Once they drop into a hole, they will appear from a different one. But hey! Conveyor Belts can be stopped by putting immovable Blocks on top.

Minimon evolution is a new in-game feature which has been added to give players a way to use extra Minimon to increase the level of other Minimon they have in their collection.

Evolving Minimon increases their basic abilities, and the higher the rank you evolve them too, the more powerful the skills they will get.

- Minimon classification

Every Minimon belongs to a particular class.

There are 1-4 Star Minimon, 3-5 Star Minimon, and so on.

How do I evolve Minimon?

The following things are required in order to evolve Minimon: (1) Minimon of the appropriate rank; (2) evolution materials OR Friend Coins or Rubies.

- The exact type and amount of Minimon and evolution materials required varies depending on the Minimon being evolved.

Evolution to top rank Minimon

In order to evolve a Minimon to top rank, at least one more instance of the same Minimon is required as an evolution material.

- Who is Super Brown?

Don't have the Minimon you need to evolve? Don't worry, Super Brown is here to save the day! Super Brown acts as a substitute for other Minimon to help you evolve all you want!

- Super Brown can only be used as an evolution material, and cannot be equipped.

- What things are required for evolution?

Either evolution materials OR Friend Coins or Rubies are required for evolution.

2. Friend Coins or Rubies

If you don't have the necessary evolution materials, you can use Friend Coins or Rubies to evolve Minimon.

Huh? You don't know what Heart friends are? Then I'll tell you!

1. Heart friends are your lifeline! They'll send you Hearts so you can play more!

We've all been there—right in the middle of a great POP2 sesh and you run out of Hearts!

But not to worry! Having Heart friends will let you get a Heart from someone every day!

If that's still not enough, you can request more from your Heart friends!

We're always here for you, so we'll help you out tout suite!

2. Heart friends are also your in-game rivals!

I heard Heart friends will always be of similar level to you.

See for yourself friends' levels on the home or Friend Ranking screens!

Overtake one of us in the rankings and share it to get Friend Coins! We'll be doing our level best to overtake you too!

Notes:

1. Heart friend levels are reset every day at 4am (GMT+9).

2. Heart exchanges are reset every day at 12am (GMT+9).

3. If a real POP2 friend and a Heart friend are in on same Level, the POP2 friend will take precedence over the Heart friend for being overtaken when you pass them.

4. Even if you share that you've overtaken a Heart friend, no LINE messages will be sent.

5. If there are no Heart friends within 10 levels of you, then no Heart friends will be shown.
