• Changing your phone number or email address
Your phone number and email address are linked to your registered information on LINE. Please change the information registered to your LINE account.
For the steps to change your phone number or email address, see the following Help articles.
You can delete your LINE BITMAX account by tapping the More tab on the main menu > Manage account > Delete LINE BITMAX account.
Note: Your trade history and balance cannot be restored once your LINE BITMAX account has been deleted.
You cannot delete your LINE BITMAX account if:
• You have crypto assets available to trade or send.
• Your balance of Japanese yen exceeds the withdrawal fee.
• You have any pending transactions.
If you can't delete your LINE BITMAX account, try doing so after selling your crypto assets, sending them to another wallet, or withdrawing your Japanese yen.
Also, if you have Japanese yen in your margin account, please transfer the funds to your spot account via inter-account transfer beforehand.
When you delete your LINE BITMAX account, all of your account information is deleted along with it, including your previous trading history and remaining balances. Once account information has been deleted, there is no way to recover it.
If your old account was deleted, please consider using LINE BITMAX with a new account.

Before you can delete your LINE account, you must first delete your LINE BITMAX account and any other services linked to LINE. If you want to delete your LINE account, do so after first deleting your LINE BITMAX account.
Note: If you want to delete your LINE Pay account, you also need to first delete your LINE BITMAX account.

If we requested information for returning your remaining balances (Japanese yen and crypto assets) but did not receive it, and over five years have passed since deleting your LINE BITMAX account, it may no longer be possible to receive a refund.

Confirm which of the following issues matches your situation, then read the corresponding solutions for the error message you see when deleting your account.
An error message saying “Your crypto assets exceed the minimum send amount” appears:
First, from the LINE BITMAX 口座 (Accounts) screen, scroll down and check the types and Japanese yen values of your crypto assets.

If you have any crypto assets valued at JPY 1 or more, follow the steps under the image below then try deleting your LINE BITMAX account.
Note: For Flare (FLR), if you have FLR 0.2 or more, please send it to another wallet.
What to do if you have crypto assets valued at JPY 1 or more:
The steps vary depending on the type of crypto asset. Select the relevant type below.
KAIA (KAIA)
Please sell your KAIA on the brokerage. Once sold, it will be converted to Japanese yen and be reflected under メイン口座:日本円 (Spot account: JPY) from the LINE BITMAX 口座 (Accounts) screen.
Note:

- You can also sell in increments of KAIA 100 units on the exchange, but amounts less than KAIA 100 will need to be sold on the brokerage.

Other than KAIA
Please send your crypto assets to another wallet or sell them on the brokerage.
Note: You can only send crypto assets to another wallet if your balance is the minimum sending amount plus the sending fee or more.
To send your crypto assets to another wallet:
Follow the steps in the Help article below.
Once sold, they will be converted to Japanese yen and be reflected under メイン口座:日本円 (Spot account: JPY) from the LINE BITMAX 口座 (Accounts) screen.

Be advised
You won't be able to delete your account after selling or sending the above crypto assets to another wallet if the balance in your spot account is JPY 401 or more. Withdraw the Japanese yen in your account by following the steps in Withdrawing money (JPY) from LINE BITMAX.
An error message saying “Your JPY balance exceeds the withdrawal fee or have any pending transactions (Lending)” appears:
Please see if you are lending any assets from the LINE BITMAX home screen > Lending > My lending and take action according to your situation.

If you're lending crypto assets
1. After canceling the loan, receive the loan amount and interest.
2. Check your crypto asset holdings and take action accordingly.
Note: You won't be able to delete your account if your crypto assets exceed the minimum send amount. For the steps to check and sell your holdings, see the An error message saying “Your crypto assets exceed the minimum send amount” appears section of the current Help article.
If you're not lending crypto assets
From the LINE BITMAX 口座 (Accounts) screen, scroll down and check the types and Japanese yen values of your crypto assets.

Follow the instructions for the situation written below the following image that matches the state of your holdings.
If you don't have crypto assets valued at JPY 1 or more:
You won't be able to delete your account because you have JPY 401 or more in your spot account. Please withdraw it by following the steps in the Help article below.
Note: If you have crypto assets that haven't finished being returned after the lending period has ended or the loan has been canceled, take the above actions after they've been returned.
Another error message appears/I'm unable to perform the actions to delete my account:
An error message saying “Action is required on your margin trading account” appears
Follow the instructions below that match your situation after confirming whether:
• There is a balance in your margin account.
• There is a negative balance in your margin account.
• You have any positions or unfilled orders.
Note:
- You can check your positions and unfilled orders from the LINE BITMAX home screen > the relevant crypto asset from the Brokerage tab > the 信用取引/注文履歴 (Margin trades/Order history) tab.

If you have a balance in your margin account:
Please transfer the Japanese yen to your spot account.
If you have a negative balance in your margin account:
Please transfer enough Japanese yen from your spot account to your margin account to cover the negative margin.
If you have any positions or unfilled orders:
Clear them, such as by making closing buy trades or canceling your unfilled orders.
An error message saying “You have a deposit/withdrawal request or crypto asset transaction that is being processed” appears
Crypto assets you sent or received have not finished being processed or there is a request to withdraw or deposit Japanese yen. Please wait for the relevant transactions to be reflected.
An error message saying “You have any pending transactions (Lending)” appears
You have crypto assets that are being lent or returned. Please receive the loan amount and interest after canceling the loan.
An error message saying “You have an unfilled order with the exchange service” appears
Clear any unfilled orders, such as by canceling them. For information on how to check unfilled orders, see the following Help article.
If you see a different error message than the ones above or you're unable to perform the actions to delete your account, contact us via this Inquiry Form.

With the end of the LINE Pay service, your currently set LINE Pay passcode will become unavailable. To continue using the LINE BITMAX service, you need to set a new passcode.
Note: After the applicable period has ended, you will not be able to use all of LINE BITMAX's functions until you finish resetting your passcode. Please do so as soon as possible.
