Brokerage trades (trigger orders)

A trigger order automatically initiates an order when the conditions that you set are met.

You can set in advance the crypto asset type, your preferred buy/sell price, the amount/price of the asset, and the order period as conditions.

You can cancel a set trigger order as long as it has not been executed yet.

To cancel a trigger order:

1. Tap the crypto asset of the trigger order on the LINE BITMAX home screen.

2. Tap Order/Trade history.

3. Tap Order history.

4. Tap Cancel next to the trigger order.

5. Tap Yes in the pop-up that appears.

You can set up to 10 trigger orders. This includes both buy and sell orders for all of the crypto assets available on LINE BITMAX.

For example, if you set five trigger orders for buying Bitcoin (BTC) and five trigger orders for selling KAIA (KAIA), you will not be able to set an additional trigger order for selling Ethereum (ETH).

Your trigger order will be canceled if:
• Your asset balance is less than the trigger order amount/price when the trigger order is executed.
• Suspensions or restrictions have been placed on some of your LINE BITMAX account features.
• The trigger order period has expired.
• The trigger order isn't within the crypto asset trading limits.

The chart screen shows the mid price of a crypto asset without the spread (transaction cost). The actual buy/sell price is the mid price including the spread.

The buy/sell price that you set for a trigger order also includes the spread. For this reason, your trigger order will not execute until the buy/sell price is reached, even if the mid price that appears on the chart screen has reached the amount you set.

Trigger order execution price example

If you set a sell trigger order price as JPY 15,000:
• The order will not execute if the mid price is JPY 15,000 and the sell price is JPY 14,000.
• The order will execute if the mid price is JPY 16,000 and the sell price is JPY 15,000.

When considering the trigger order price you want to set, make sure to refer to the buy/sell price.

Note: You can check the current buy/sell price from the LINE BITMAX main menu by tapping Home > the crypto asset you want to check > Buy or Sell > Market.
