Receiving crypto assets in relation to the travel rule

In accordance with the regulations of the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, cabinet orders, enforcement ordinances, notifications, and administrative guidelines, as well as the regulations of the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act (FEFTA), we also confirm transaction details against the report sent by the sending VASP when you receive crypto assets.

When we confirm that you received crypto assets sent to your address from a source such as an external wallet, we will send you a declaration form to confirm the transaction details (e.g. sender information, reason for receiving crypto assets) via the LINE BITMAX Notifications (LINE BITMAXお知らせ) official LINE account. To have the received crypto assets reflected to your LINE BITMAX account, you need to check our questions and answer them accordingly.

Important:
- In some cases, it may take time to finish confirming the reported details and your answers to our questions and then reflect the received crypto assets to your account. Also, some transactions may be restricted. For this reason, please respond in a timely manner to any requests you receive from us to confirm the sender's information.
- There may be cases where received crypto assets cannot be reflected to your account due to the reported details and your answers to our questions.
- When entering the report information as the sender, please make sure you enter your name and other information correctly.

I don't see the crypto assets I sent from an external wallet to LINE BITMAX

Depending on network conditions and the status of the blockchain network, it may take some time for us to receive crypto assets sent from an external wallet.
Note: If you send Ripple (XRP) or Stellar Lumens (XLM) without entering a tag/memo, it may not show up in your wallet.

When we confirm that you received crypto assets sent to your address from a source such as an external wallet, we will send you a declaration form to confirm the transaction details (e.g. sender information, reason for receiving crypto assets) via the LINE BITMAX Notifications (LINE BITMAXお知らせ) official LINE account. To have the received crypto assets reflected to your LINE BITMAX account, you need to check our questions and answer them accordingly.

If you still haven't received a declaration form via the LINE BITMAX Notifications official LINE account 24 hours after the status in the sending wallet indicates that it has been sent, please also refer to the following related Help articles.

On LINE BITMAX, you may be prohibited from sending crypto assets to or receiving crypto assets from some addresses if they are determined to pose a certain amount of risk (based on blockchain analysis results and other sources). I was notified about an incomplete transaction/needing to enter sender information when receiving crypto assets

When crypto assets are sent to your address, we will ask you to confirm sender information via a notice from the LINE BITMAX Notifications (LINE BITMAXお知らせ) official LINE account.

If you receive a request from us to confirm sender information, respond promptly from the declaration form via the link in the notice. If you don't respond or depending on the details of your response, we may not be able to reflect the received crypto assets to your account.
Note:
- You'll be sent a notification every Monday around 11 am from the LINE BITMAX Notifications official LINE account until you respond.
- The declaration form is different for each time you receive crypto assets. If you received multiple requests to confirm sender information, be sure to respond by filling out every declaration form.

If you received an unfamiliar notification or crypto assets for an unfamiliar transaction, please contact us at any time via this Inquiry Form.

Entering sender information

When we confirm that you received crypto assets sent to your address from a source such as an external wallet, we will send you a declaration form to confirm the transaction details (e.g. sender information, reason for receiving crypto assets) via the LINE BITMAX Notifications (LINE BITMAXお知らせ) official LINE account. We ask for your cooperation in filling it in.

To access the form:
1. Open the chat with the LINE BITMAX Notifications official LINE account.
2. Tap Declaration form in the relevant message to open the screen with the details of the received crypto assets.

After you've completed the steps above, enter the information in accordance with the on-screen steps.

Important:
- In some cases, it may take time to finish confirming the reported details and your answers to our questions and then reflect the received crypto assets to your LINE BITMAX account. Also, some transactions may be restricted. For this reason, please respond in a timely manner to any requests you receive from us to confirm the sender's information.
- There may be cases where received crypto assets cannot be reflected to your account due to the reported details and your answers to our questions.
- The declaration form is different for each time you receive crypto assets. If you received multiple requests to confirm sender information, be sure to respond by filling out every declaration form.
- We are unable to provide support to inquiries about sending messages sent from the LINE BITMAX Notifications official LINE account again. If you've received crypto assets, but have not finished filling out the declaration form, you will be notified again from the LINE BITMAX Notifications official LINE account every Monday at 11 am. Please check the notification.
