Taxes/Trade report

The transactions you make from January to December every year are subject to taxation.

Note: You will not be subject to taxation for only holding crypto assets on LINE BITMAX.

Any profit earned from buying, selling, or lending crypto assets is recognized as miscellaneous income and subject to general taxation. You may need to report this profit by filing an income tax return.

If you need to calculate your total profits and losses including transactions on other trading platforms or exchanges, we ask that you do so yourself.

For information on the treatment of taxes applied to profits earned from buying/selling crypto assets or the interest you've received, please contact your nearest tax office or consult with a tax accountant. You can also refer to the National Tax Agency's homepage.

LINE BITMAX issues the following trade reports.
Note: Trade reports are only available in Japanese.

• Quarterly trade reports (issued at the beginning of January, April, July, and October)
• Annual trade reports (issued at the beginning of January)
Note: Data for each day is collected from 7 am to 6:59:59 am the next day.

Examples of the periods during which data is collected for each report:
• Quarterly trade report for January 2026: Includes data collected from 7 am on October 1, 2025 to 6:59:59 am on January 1, 2026.
• Annual trade report for 2026: Includes data collected from 7 am on January 1, 2026 to 6:59:59 am on January 1, 2027.

You'll receive a notification from the LINE BITMAX Notifications (LINE BITMAXお知らせ) official account when a trade report is issued. Check the message for details. Trade reports are sent to the email address registered with your LINE account in PDF format along with your trade history data in CSV format.

To view a report, go to the LINE BITMAX main menu and tap More > Trade reports, then select the desired period. Tapping a report will trigger an email containing both the PDF and CSV files. You can also resend previously issued trade reports from this same screen.
Note:
- Tap here to go to the Trade reports screen from your smartphone.
- Be sure to access the link above on the smartphone that you use with LINE BITMAX.

Depending on your device, you may need to install software to view PDF files. If you still can't view the trade report files after installing a PDF viewer, please try using different software.
Note: Software such as Google Chrome's PDF viewer can be used to view PDF files, but LINE does not recommend any specific services.

After deleting your LINE BITMAX account, you can no longer download trade reports yourself. If you've deleted your account but would like to get your trade report, please contact us at any time via this Inquiry Form.

When you purchase products with KAIA from your LINE BITMAX account, that KAIA is transferred.

You may incur income taxes when paying with KAIA, as the difference between the transfer price and the transfer cost of KAIA falls under transfer-related income.

You'll receive a notification from the LINE BITMAX Notifications (LINE BITMAXお知らせ) official account when a quarterly or annual trade report is issued. To check your trade reports, go to the LINE BITMAX main menu > More > Trade reports.
Note: When you check a trade report, it is sent in PDF format to the email address registered to your LINE account.

If you don't receive the reports at your registered email address, it may be because:
• Your email address was not entered correctly.
• You registered an invalid email address to LINE. For example, you used more than one dot in a row (e.g. line..bitmax@linebitmax.com) or used a dot just before the @ sign (e.g. line.bitmax.@linebitmax.com).
• The email was sent to your spam, junk, or another folder instead of your inbox.
• You have spam filters in place.
Note: In this case, please try again after temporarily disabling them.
• You have settings in place to only receive emails from certain domains.
Note: If you have domain filters in place on your email client, make sure that you allow emails from the domain "@bitmax.me".

• You have email forwarding configured.

Also, if you want to check your trade reports after changing your email address registered to LINE, you can have them reissued from the More tab on the LINE BITMAX main menu > Trade reports.

Trade history data is a comprehensive record of your transactions (e.g. trades, deposits, withdrawals) organized according to specific rules. LINE BITMAX provides this trade history data in CSV format.

CSV is a widely compatible format that's easy to view and edit in spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel. Because details such as the transaction date, crypto asset, quantity, and amount are listed row by row, you can easily review all your transaction details at once.

Trade history data is issued for both annual and quarterly trade reports.

Note: The items and their order in CSV files may not perfectly match the reported information or calculation criteria used in official annual and quarterly trade reports. Please adjust or reformat the data using spreadsheet software as needed.
