You must have been unsure what to do to acquire a Master Ranger that

is said to be needed for evolution to level up your Rangers.

First, you should increase level limit to get a Master Ranger, and here's how.

1) What is Ranger's level limit?

When you get a Ranger, the Ranger's growable level from its current status is displayed at the right side of Level Info.

But if you click on (?), you will see the message saying the level limit can be increased even higher.

That is, you can increase Ranger's level limit 4 times in total,

and the level reached after 4 times of increase is called the Max level of the Ranger.

Then let's take a look at how to increase a level limit.

2) How to increase Ranger's level limit?

To increase Ranger's level limit, you need the same Ranger or Super Leonard of the same grade.

On the Level Up screen, you can increase level limit by combining Rangers!

[Combine with the Same Ranger] [Combine with Super Leonard]

You can increase level limit 4 times in total. Then let's try it now!

You need one same Ranger to combine once, so to combine 4 times,

you need the same, 4 Rangers

** 1st Combination: 40 --> 45 (Level limit +5 Up)

** 2nd Combination: 45 --> 50 (Level limit +5 Up)

** 3rd Combination: 50 --> 55 (Level limit +5 Up)

** 4th Combination: 55 --> 60 (Level limit +5 Up)

Now you see the Max level has been increased by 20 levels! :)

The higher the level limit gets, the further your Ranger develops.

So if you want to make your Ranger stronger, increase its level limit.

3) Get a Master Ranger after increasing level limit!

You have increased your Ranger's level limit, then how to turn your Ranger into a Master Ranger?

All you need to do is to develop your Ranger of the increased level limit to the Max level. Easy, isn't it?

You need much EXP to develop it to the Max level. Combining with other Rangers or using Dr. Leonard will help you increase EXP faster. You can also increase it from battles!

If your Ranger grows to a Master Ranger, a Master Badge is granted as shown below.

If the Ranger can evolve, then Evolve button will be activated in the Info screen.

Evolving a Ranger is easy when you've collected Evolution Materials!

Now, you know about the Master Ranger.

But, there's another Ranger called Super Master Ranger. What is it?

4) What is a Super Master Ranger?

Each Ranger has a Max evolution grade it can acquire.

And you can check the grade at Max Evolution Grade on the Info screen.

The Ranger of the maximum grade can be acquired through evolution,

and once acquired, you can get a skill.

If you increase the level limit for the acquired Ranger of the maximum grade

(by combining it with the same Ranger 4 times) and develop it to the Max level,

your Ranger can be a Super Master Ranger!

So now, when you level up, try to make the most use of the same Rangers

and get a Master Ranger or a Super Master Ranger!

Leonard Points can be earned by combining the same evolved Rangers together regardless of their grade, or by combining Rangers with Super, Ultra, or Hyper Leonards of the same grade as the Ranger. The more Leonard Points you have, the higher the chance of getting bonus rewards when you finish stages.

- Any Leonard Points a Ranger has will remain after evolving.

- Leonard Points possessed by Rangers used as enhance materials will be carried over to the Ranger being enhanced.

- You won't get any Leonard Points when enhancing if the Ranger you use as an enhance material isn't the same grade as the Ranger being enhanced.

■ Bonus reward drop rates

Leonard Points are calculated for your A and B Teams, and factor into your chance of getting a Leonard Bonus reward.

Leonard Bonus 1 Drop Rates

(Team A's total Leonard Points) ÷ 5

Leonard Bonus 2 Drop Rates

(Team B's total Leonard Points) ÷ 5

Therefore, the more Leonard Points your Rangers have when you clear a stage will increase the chances of getting a Leonard Bonus. You can get up to 2 Leonard Bonuses.

■ Maximum retainable Leonard Points

- Normal Rangers 8-Star or lower: Up to 10

- Ultimate and Hyper Evolved Rangers: Up to 100

- 9-Star Rangers: Up to 100

Generally, all Rangers have 1 Leonard Point."

■ Potential Level

You can use level up materials to raise Rangers' Potential Levels and stats along with them.

When you raise their Potential Levels, their stats will go up too.

You can get the Materials you need to raise Potential Levels on main stages.

It would be a good idea to clear main stages regularly to have a regular supply of Materials.

Potential Boost Material 1

Awarded at random when you clear main stages 37-48, 97-108, 157-168, 217-228, 277-288, 337-348, 397-408.

Potential Boost Material 2

Awarded at random when you clear main stages 49-60, 109-120, 169-180, 229-240, 289-300, 349-360, 409-420.

Potential Boost Material 3

Awarded at random when you clear main stages 61-72, 121-132, 181-192, 241-252, 301-312, 361-372, 421-432.

Potential Boost Material 4

Awarded at random when you clear main stages 73-84, 133-144, 193-204, 253-264, 313-324, 373-384, 433-444.

Potential Boost Material 5

Awarded at random when you clear main stages 85-96, 145-156, 205-216, 265-276, 325-324, 385-396.

The more Rangers you have in your collection, the higher you can raise their Potential Levels,so try to get as many Rangers as you can!

■ Potential Reset

When you tap the reset button and reset a Ranger's Potential Level, you'll get back the Materials you used.

Careful though, if you reset a Ranger's Potentials without using a Reset Potentials Item, you'll only get back some of the materials you originally used.

Notes

- Potential Levels will be added to groups of Rangers in phases, so if your favorite Ranger doesn't get them this time around, they may get them in the future!

Rangers can possess Abilities that have a variety of effects, such as enhancing themselves and their allies, obstacle effects on enemies, and nullifying obstacle effects.

You can see what Abilities a Ranger has on their info screen. Normal and Ultimate Evolved 8-Star or lower Rangers can have up to 1 Ability, Hyper Evolved Rangers can have up to 2, and 9-Star Rangers can have up to 3.

As an example, here are the recommended Abilities for dealing with obstacle effects that activate in advent stages.

■ Advent stage obstacle effects

Obstacle effects appear randomly in advent stages.

■ Ranger Abilities (Recommended Abilities)

Abilities can be used to defend against obstacle effects in advent stages.

1. Caffeine: Counteracts Deep Sleep in advent stages, keeping you funky fresh and alert! That's a heck of a fine cup of joe!

- Rangers who have Caffeine won't fall asleep if Deep Sleep is triggered.

2. Gas Mask: Counteracts Poison Gas in advent stages, keeping you alive amongst the unfortunate maskless masses!

- Rangers who have Gas Mask won't take damage if Poison Gas is triggered.

3. Guardian Angel: Counteracts Reaper in advent stages. Avoid Death's scythe - much easier than playing board games to cheat Death!

- Rangers who have Guardian Angel won't get knocked out if Reaper is triggered.

4. Eagle Eyes: Counteracts Ink in advent stages. Pierce through the inky veil and keep your attacks on track!

- Rangers who have Eagle Eyes won't be affected by Ink if it is triggered.

5. Stone Cold: Counteracts Siren Song in advent stages. Stone Cold will keep you tied to the mast when you hear the call of the sirens!

- Rangers who have Stone Cold won't be affected by Siren Song if it is triggered.

■ Ability Debuffs

Some Abilities give debuffs such as Stun, knockback, and Silence; and those Abilities are not affected by Knockback Resistance, Silence Resistance, or Stun Resistance stats.

Rangers with the Flyer Ability can attack Towers without being attacked or blocked by Rangers on the ground.

■ Attacking with Flyer Rangers

Once deployed, Flyer Rangers automatically proceed to the enemy Tower to attack it.

Rangers on the ground are not able to attack Flyer Rangers.

However, Flyer Rangers can attack Rangers on the ground.

Flyer Rangers continue to move past enemies between attacks toward the opposing Tower.

Please note that Flyer Rangers can't attack other Flyer Rangers.

Only Rangers with the Air Ambush Ability are able to attack Flyer Rangers.

Although they can't be directly attacked by Rangers without the Air Ambush Ability, they can still be damaged via other means such as reflection skills.

■ Flyer Ranger features

Flyer Rangers tend to have higher Mineral Costs but lower Move Speed then ground Rangers.

They also deal relatively low damage to the Tower.

■ Assigning Flyer Rangers to Teams

Only a limited number of Flyer Rangers can be assigned to your A Team and B Team.

■ Flyer Ranger Buffs

Flyer Ranger buffs are applied only to Flyer Rangers. They do not affect ground Rangers.

■ Flyer Rangers outside of PVP

1. Main stages: Flyer Rangers attack the enemy Tower, but can't damage it through its shield.

2. Special stages: As in main stages, attacks to the enemy Tower deal no damage. Flyer Rangers can't be attacked by the Tower either.

3. Advent stages: As with ground Rangers, Flyer Rangers will be affected by obstacle effects if they don't have the appropriate counter Ability.

4. Infinitower: As with ground Rangers, Flyer Rangers move down a lane of your choosing. They attack enemies as they move, and continue down the lane between attacks.

5: Event stages: As in PVP, Flyer Rangers can damage the enemy Tower, but the damage they deal is low.

Buffs are effects that increase the abilities of your Rangers.

Rangers that have been buffed will be stronger on every stage you use them on!

We will let you know via the Notices if any Rangers receive buffs.

■ How to check buffs

- Checking from the main home screen

1. Go to the main home screen and tap Buffs, found in the top-left corner.

2. From there, you can find details on a buff's effects, how long it will last, and which Rangers are affected.

If a buff doesn't apply to any Rangers in the game, the pop-up below will appear.

- Checking from the Team screen or the battle preparation screen

Buffed Rangers will have an arrow visible near their icon.

Note: Buff types and values may differ depending on the event.

■ Group Buff Ability

Put Rangers from a certain group onto a Team, and they'll get group buffs in battle.

You must have a Team that has at least 2 Rangers from the same group in order to get group buffs. The more Rangers you have in a Team from the same group, the stronger the buffs will be. (There are 5 buff levels.)

- Group buffs will only work for Rangers that have Group Abilities.

- Group buffs will only work during battle, so stat details will not be visible.

- Tie-up Ranger group buffs will still activate after the tie-up event period has ended.

The Bubble Skill has the effect of enveloping some of the enemies the Ranger is attacking in bubbles at a fixed chance, causing them to float in the air.

- The number of enemy Rangers affected by the Bubble Skill and the chances of it happening may vary depending on the Skill.

- Bubbles don't work on Bosses or Guardians.

Enemy Rangers caught in bubbles will float in the air for the duration, unable to move or attack.

Enemy Rangers floating in the air due to bubbles are temporarily treated as Flyer Rangers.

Allied Rangers cannot attack the enemy Rangers floating in a bubble, but they can pass underneath.

Allied Air Ambush Rangers can attack enemy Rangers floating in bubbles as if they were Flyer Rangers.

Air Ambush Rangers prioritize attacking Flyer Rangers over enemy Rangers floating in bubbles.

Items and some Abilities are effective even on Rangers floating in the air.

When the bubble's duration ends, the bubble bursts and the Ranger returns to the ground.

If a Ranger floating in a bubble is defeated, the bubble immediately bursts, and the unit falls to the ground and collapses.

If the unit has an Ability that activates upon defeat, it will trigger at this moment.

The Berserk Ability is a powerful Skill that activates when the Ranger's HP goes below 50%, giving various effects like a big ATK boost and clearing status ailments!

When Berserk activates, the Ranger will grow in size and get a red effect applied on it.

Berserk has 2 types of effects: effects that last a short while after Berserk activates and effects that are applied for the whole time Berserk is active.

1. Effects that are applied for a short time after Berserk activates

　Ranger will not be defeated even if its HP is reduced to below 1 (will not die)

　Status effects on the Ranger are cleared and immunity is granted to them (Stun, Silence, Transformation, Size Change, Charm, Bubble)

　- Advent, Ability, and battle items effects will still apply to Berserking units.

2. Effects that are constantly applied during Berserk

　Large boost to ATK and ATK speed

　Immunity to knockback and Stun

Even if a Ranger that activated Berserk is healed to above 50% HP and then goes below 50% HP again, Berserk will not activate again.

- Rangers that have been revived via a Revive Ability can activate Berserk again.
