LINE MUSIC is a music streaming service. Streaming lets you listen to songs in the app without saving them on your device, so you can enjoy music without worrying about storage space.
In addition to being able to listen to the latest songs, LINE MUSIC also allows you to:
• Share songs in chats with your friends on LINE
• Set a song as background music for your LINE profile
• Listen to playlists created by others
• Listen to songs offline
- Set songs as your ringtone or ringback tone for free calls on LINE
- Purchase songs and albums

The following additions and changes have been made to LINE MUSIC version 3.2.0:
• Purchase songs
You can now purchase songs, and enjoy an even wider variety of music. When you purchase songs using LINE MUSIC Coins, you can save them and listen to the entire songs anytime, even if you don't have a ticket.
• Set songs as your ringtone
You can now set songs purchased on LINE MUSIC as your ringtone on LINE.
• Offline Music has changed to Downloaded Music
The song limit has been removed, so you can now save more music. The number of songs you can download is only limited by the amount of space free on your device.
The songs you purchase are also saved in Downloaded Music. Your purchased songs won't use up data, so you can play them with your other saved songs without worrying about using up extra data.
The recommended specifications for the app and PC browser versions of LINE MUSIC are as follows:

Without a ticket, you can listen to each song once in full.
Note: Songs that need to be purchased using Coins cannot be played for free.
When you purchase a ticket, you can listen to songs an unlimited amount of times.

Yes, LINE MUSIC can be used internationally.
LINE MUSIC uses packet data. We recommend checking with your mobile phone carrier in regards to your packet data and its settings.
Please note that you can only register to LINE MUSIC if your LINE account is registered in Japan. You cannot use LINE MUSIC if your LINE account is registered in another country.

By setting up LINE MUSIC as a widget, you can play music and access frequently used menus without starting the app.
To set up a widget:
1. Tap and hold the home screen.
2. Tap Widgets.
3. Select LINE MUSIC From the widgets list. You can select three different sizes for your widget.
If you are using LINE MUSIC on Android 6.0 or later, you will need to turn on the setting to allow the app to access your device. Please follow either of the steps below.
From the app:
1. Start LINE MUSIC.
2. When the pop-up appears, tap Allow.
From your device settings:
1. Tap Settings on your device.
2. Tap Application > LINE MUSIC > Permissions.
3. Turn Storage ON.
As of December 2017, the rules regarding making playlists with purchased songs have changed.
Purchased songs can only be added to your private playlists. They cannot be added to public lists, and any playlist with purchased songs cannot be shared.

To check rankings by genre:
1. Tap the RANKING tab.
2. At the bottom of the screen, choose the genre you want to see the rankings for from RANKINGS BY GENRE.
To see playlists by genre or theme:
1. Tap the SEARCH tab.
2. Tap a genre or theme under the keyword search box.
This playlist displays the songs you've played the most over the last three months, and can only be seen by you.
Note: The Play TOP 50 will appear if you've played 20 or more songs in the last three months, and will show up to 50 songs starting with those you've listened to the most.
The categories below, which were previously found in Downloaded Music, are now offered in list form.
• Songs: Shows which songs you've downloaded.
• Artists: Shows the songs you've downloaded by artist.
• Albums: Shows the songs you've downloaded by album.
• Playlists: Shows all of your playlists, as well as the songs you've downloaded by playlist.
You can see your play queue by swiping up on the Now Playing screen. Starting from LINE MUSIC version 3.7.0, you can also reorder songs or delete them from your play queue.
To reorder songs:
Tap and hold the icon next to the song shown in the play queue, then drag it to the order that you want it to play in.
To delete songs from the play queue:
Swipe left on the song you want to delete.
