About LINE MUSIC toggle
LINE MUSIC is a music streaming service. You can listen to songs in the app without having to save them on your device, so there's no need to worry about storage space.

In addition to being able to listen to the latest songs, LINE MUSIC allows you to:
• Share songs in chats with your friends on LINE.
• Set a song as background music for your LINE profile.
• Listen to playlists created by others.
• Listen to songs offline.
• Set songs as your ringtone or ringback tone for free calls on LINE.

You can enjoy LINE MUSIC with the app or PC browser version.

Recommended specifications for LINE MUSIC toggle
You can enjoy LINE MUSIC from the app or your PC web browser with the following specifications.

For the app version
• LINE MUSIC version 6.0.0 or later: Android 7.0 or later
• LINE MUSIC versions 6.0.0 to 6.4.0: iOS 12.0 or later
• LINE MUSIC version 6.5.0 or later: iOS 14.0 or later

For the PC browser version
Browsers:
• The latest version of Chrome
• The latest version of Safari
• The latest version of Microsoft Edge

OSes:
• Windows 10 or later
• Mac OS X 10.7 or later

Can I use LINE MUSIC for free? toggle
You need to purchase a ticket to use all of the features in LINE MUSIC. If you haven't purchased a ticket, you can only listen to 30 second previews of songs.
Note:
- Songs purchased with Coins can be played in full, regardless of whether you have a ticket or not. (The sale of Purchase Only songs has ended as of April 4, 2022.)
- LINE MUSIC uses network data, so we recommend using it with a flat-rate data plan.

Does LINE MUSIC use data? toggle
Yes, it does. We recommend using a flat-rate data plan. To check how much data you are using, please contact your mobile service provider.

You can also use LINE MUSIC when your network connection is turned off. For more details, please see this article.

Can I use LINE MUSIC on more than one device? toggle
You can log in from more than one device with the same LINE account. However, you can only play music and music videos on one device at a time.

Can I use LINE MUSIC internationally? toggle
Yes, LINE MUSIC can be used internationally.

LINE MUSIC uses packet data. We recommend checking with your mobile phone carrier in regards to your packet data and its settings.

Please note that you can only register to LINE MUSIC if your LINE account is registered in Japan. You cannot use LINE MUSIC if your LINE account is registered in another country.

Can I open LINE MUSIC from a widget? toggle
By setting up LINE MUSIC as a widget, you can play music and access frequently used menus without starting the app.

To set up a widget:
1. Tap and hold the home screen.
2. Tap Widgets.
3. Select LINE MUSIC From the widgets list. You can select three different sizes for your widget.

When I open LINE MUSIC on Android 6.0, a pop-up appears toggle
If you are using LINE MUSIC on Android 6.0 or later, you will need to turn on the setting to allow the app to access your device. Please follow either of the steps below.

From the app:
1. Start LINE MUSIC.
2. When the pop-up appears, tap Allow.

From your device settings:
1. Tap Settings on your device.
2. Tap Application > LINE MUSIC > Permissions.
3. Turn Storage ON.

I don't see Topics on the main menu toggle
The Topics section can be found on the Home screen. Tap a topic title to bring up a list of related music.
Note: Topics can be found under Today.

Can purchased songs be added to a playlist? toggle
As of December 2017, the rules regarding making playlists with purchased songs have changed.

Purchased songs can only be added to your private playlists. They cannot be added to public lists, and any playlist with purchased songs cannot be shared.

This playlist displays the songs you've played the most over the last three months, and can only be seen by you.
Note: The Play TOP 50 will appear if you've played 20 or more songs in the last three months, and will show up to 50 songs starting with those you've listened to the most.

You can sort the songs in Downloads with the following options.

• Songs: Shows all the songs you've downloaded.
• Artists: Shows the songs you've downloaded by artist.
• Albums: Shows the songs you've downloaded by album.
• Playlists: Shows the songs you've downloaded by playlist.

The LINE MUSIC official account offers information about promotions, song releases, and how to get the most out of LINE MUSIC.

You can also ask questions in the official account chat if you're having an issue with the service or there's something you want to know. This is often a faster way to resolve problems than an email inquiry.

1. Tap the Search tab.
2. Tap the music note icon on the right of the input field.

About the EQ feature toggle
Configure your sound settings just as you like them with the EQ feature.
Note: You can change your EQ setting only with a paid plan. 

To change your EQ setting: 
1. Tap Library.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Playback settings.
4. Tap EQ and select a setting.

Changing the LINE MUSIC app's theme toggle
To change the LINE MUSIC app's theme: 
1. Tap Library.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Themes and select the theme you want to use.

You can choose the following themes:
• Day mode
• Night mode

If you turn on Use device settings, the theme that matches the appearance of your OS (e.g. light/dark mode) will be applied.
Note: The OS dark mode is available on iOS 13 or later and Android 10 or later.

End of support for LINE MUSIC versions earlier than 5.0 (Android/iOS) toggle
Support for versions of the LINE MUSIC app earlier than 5.0 ended on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

If you're using a version earlier than 5.0, you will no longer be able to play music and videos or use any of the app's other features. Please update the LINE MUSIC app to the latest version or use the service from your web browser.

To use the LINE MUSIC free sticker plan, you need to subscribe to LINE Stickers Premium.

To subscribe to LINE Stickers Premium:
1. Tap Library > Settings.

3. On the LINE Stickers Premium screen, tap Get Premium.
4. On the LINE Stickers Premium registration screen, tap Get a Basic course for free.

If you already have a LINE Stickers Premium plan, you can subscribe to the LINE MUSIC free sticker plan after you cancel your current plan and the canceled plan expires.

Users subscribed to a LINE MUSIC plan can use the LINE Stickers Premium basic course for free.

To use the LINE MUSIC free sticker plan, you need to subscribe from the LINE MUSIC app.

If you're using a family plan, your family members can also use LINE Stickers Premium by subscribing to the service.

To subscribe to LINE Stickers Premium:
1. Tap Library > Settings.
2. Tap Account.
3. On the LINE Stickers Premium screen, tap Get Premium.
