About Premium Plans toggle
A Premium Plan lets you stream as much music as you like and use everything LINE MUSIC has to offer with no restrictions for one month (after purchasing a monthly ticket) or one year (after purchasing an annual ticket). If you think you'll use LINE MUSIC for a year, purchasing an annual ticket is a cheaper option than purchasing 12 separate monthly tickets.

Note: You'll be charged automatically on the same day of every month (with monthly tickets) or every year (with annual tickets) from the day you made your purchase.

What is a Basic Plan? toggle

A Basic Plan lets you enjoy up to 20 hours of music within a month's time.

 

You'll be charged on the same day of every month from the day the ticket you purchased appears. This way, after purchasing a ticket once, you can use LINE MUSIC without having to renew your plan until you decide to cancel your subscription.

 

Payments can be made using Google Play, carrier billing, or a credit card.

Will I be charged for any payments if I have a free trial ticket? toggle
If you only have a free trial ticket, you will not be charged for an auto-renewal payment.

Important: If you changed your device, Google ID, Apple ID, or LINE account, you may still have a subscription left over from a ticket you purchased before.

How can I check what kind of tickets I have? toggle
You can check what kind of tickets you have by following the steps below:

1. Tap the Library tab at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If Library does not appear at the top of the screen, tap the Library tab once more.
2. Tap Settings > Ticket Info.
3. Check the name of your tickets under the MY TICKETS tab.

Please be aware that if you change your device, Apple ID, Google account, or LINE account, tickets you had before may not appear.

Family Plan

About Family Plans toggle
A Family Plan allows the user who purchased the ticket (admin) to invite up to five of their LINE friends to enjoy an unlimited LINE Music streaming pass together.

Note:
- Only one user (admin) needs to pay for the ticket.
- Monthly and annual tickets are available for purchase.
- Only LINE users are eligible to join a Family Plan.
- Personal information such as recently played lists is not shared between members.

Purchasing a Family Plan ticket toggle
You can purchase a Family Plan ticket from the LINE MUSIC app.

To purchase a ticket:
Tap Library > your profile image > Shop > Family.

Tickets can only be purchased when you're logged in with LINE.

You won't be able to purchase a Family Plan ticket if you're already using another ticket. Please purchase a Family Plan ticket once you've used up your current ticket.

If you are the admin of a Family Plan, you won't be able to purchase or use any other tickets, as they cannot be used with the members of your Family Plan.

You can choose to make monthly or annual payments for the Family Plan.

Inviting members to a Family Plan toggle
Once you've purchased a Family Plan ticket, you can choose others to invite as members from the pop-up window that appears.

Since invitations are sent via the LINE app, both the admin and invited users need to be logged in to LINE.

The admin can invite members or confirm their participation status by tapping Settings > Family Member Settings (which appears after creating a Family).

Up to five members can be invited. If five members have already been added or invited, removing a member or canceling an invitation will let you invite other friends.

Please remember that admins can only invite members if they have a valid Family Plan ticket.

I accidentally invited the wrong member to a Family Plan toggle
The Family Plan admin can cancel member invitations or remove members at any time by going to Settings > Family Member Settings.

Note: Canceling invitations does not delete the invitation messages that appear in LINE.

Becoming a member of a Family Plan toggle
Once the Family Plan admin purchases a ticket, they can send out member invites from the LINE MUSIC app. 

You’ll receive a message on LINE when the admin sends you an invitation. Tap the message that was sent to you on LINE to start the LINE MUSIC app. After launching the app, confirm your membership by tapping Join from the pop-up.

Note:
- If you tap Decline you cannot change your choice later.
- If you accidentally delete the chat or otherwise can't receive an invitation message, please ask the admin to cancel your invitation and invite you again.
- Your LINE MUSIC account can become a member of only one Family Plan.
- If you leave a Family Plan, you can't join another one as a member for three months.

Can the Family Plan admin be changed? toggle
Family Plans are created around the user who purchases the ticket, so the admin cannot be changed.

Leaving a Family Plan toggle
As a member, you can leave a family plan at any time. However, keep in mind that once you leave a family plan, you won't be able to join another one for three months. Please consider your decisions carefully.

The admin of a Family Plan cannot leave while the ticket is still valid, and must wait until the ticket has expired to do so. Once the admin has left, participating members will be deleted.

Please note that admins will also be unable to join another Family Plan as a member for three months after leaving one.

To leave a family plan, go to Settings > Family Member Settings.

Can I purchase a new Family Plan ticket if I'm already a member of another Family? toggle
Your LINE MUSIC account can only participate in one Family, so you can't purchase a Family Plan ticket if you're already a member of another Family.

If you'd like to purchase a Family Plan ticket and be an admin, please do so after leaving the Family you're currently participating in.
Note: If you leave a Family you can become the admin of another Family right away, but you need to wait three months before you can join another Family Plan as a member.

Purchasing

Where can I purchase a ticket? toggle
You can purchase a ticket on the app and browser versions of LINE MUSIC, or on LINE STORE.

On the LINE MUSIC app:
There are two ways to purchase a ticket.
- Tap Library > your profile icon > Shop.
or
- Tap Library > settings icon > Ticket Info > Shop.

On LINE STORE:
You can purchase a ticket here.

Can I change a ticket purchased in the LINE MUSIC app to a LINE STORE ticket? toggle
You may incur duplicate charges if you purchase a ticket on LINE STORE while you are using a ticket purchased in the LINE MUSIC app.

We recommend canceling the ticket you purchased in the LINE MUSIC app, then waiting until it is no longer valid before purchasing a ticket on LINE STORE.

Where can I check the remaining time and next renewal date for my ticket? toggle
You can check the status of your tickets in the following ways.

On the LINE MUSIC app:
1. Tap the Library tab at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If Library does not appear at the top of the screen, tap the Library tab once more.
2. Tap Settings > Ticket Info.

On the browser version of LINE MUSIC:
Click Library > the ticket that appears under your account name.

On LINE STORE:
You can view your ticket information under Payment Plan.
Note: You can only check tickets that were purchased on LINE STORE.

Is there a way to automatically renew tickets instead of having to buy one all the time? toggle

Yes, there is. Both Basic and Premium plans automatically renew every month.

 

You will automatically be charged a usage fee every month so you can enjoy using LINE MUSIC without having to purchase a ticket all the time.

About subscription plans toggle
A subscription plan (auto-renewal) is a payment method that automatically charges you every month from the day you start making payments.

Once you make a payment, you can use LINE MUSIC and not have to worry about renewing your plan until you decide to cancel your subscription.
Note:
- If you're transferring your account to a device running a different OS, please cancel your auto-renewal subscription in advance.
- Tickets purchased on LINE STORE can be transferred between devices running different OSes.

What happens if I purchase another ticket while I have one in use? toggle

If you are using a ticket with auto renewal, you will not be able to purchase or use another ticket. However, you can upgrade from a Basic Plan to a Premium Plan.
 

If you are using a time-limited ticket, the one you added will automatically go into use after the remaining time on your current ticket has been used up.

What will happen to the tickets I've purchased if I don't use the service? toggle
Whether you utilize the service or not, use of a ticket will automatically begin in the order it was purchased in. Tickets can only be used until their designated expiration date.

I paid with carrier billing/credit card, but didn't receive a payment confirmation email toggle
If you don't receive an email from LINE MUSIC, please check the following:

• Was your registered email address entered correctly?
You can check or change your registered email address by going to Library > Settings > Account > Email address for receipts.

• Are you using any spam filters?
Please check your email settings and make sure emails from LINE MUSIC are not being sent to your spam folder.

Canceling

If my ticket expires, will the songs saved in Downloaded Music be deleted? toggle
When your ticket expires, the songs you purchased and saved can still be played in their entirety anytime. Music saved in Downloaded Music won't disappear from your list, but you need to purchase a ticket to play the entire songs.

Canceling a subscription (auto renewal) toggle
Tickets purchased for LINE MUSIC are automatically renewed. As long as you don't cancel your auto-renewal subscription, payments will continue to be made automatically.

If you want to cancel your subscription, please do so at least 24 hours before your current ticket is set to expire.
Note:
- Uninstalling the app will not cancel your subscription plan.
- After canceling your plan, you can still use it until the period expires.
- The steps to cancel auto renewal vary depending on your method of payment.

Google Play payments:
1. Start the Play Store app.
2. Tap the menu icon at the top left of the home screen > Subscriptions.
3. Select LINE MUSIC, then tap Cancel subscription.

For more details or instructions on how to manage your subscription from your PC, please refer to the following page:


Carrier billing or credit card payments:
1. From the LINE MUSIC app, tap Library > Settings > Ticket Info.
2. Depending on the ticket you want to cancel, the steps will differ.
• To cancel "In Use" tickets: Tap Cancel Subscription > Terminate Subscription.
• To cancel other tickets: Under MY TICKETS, tap Cancel to the right of the ticket you want to cancel.

LINE STORE payments:
1. Access LINE STORE.
2. From the menu icon at the top left, tap Log in.
3. Tap Account page > Subscription plans.
Note: You can also tap the menu icon at the top left of the page and select Account page > Purchase history > Subscription plans.
4. Under LINE MUSIC, tap Cancel to the right of the subscribed plan.

Can I use LINE MUSIC without purchasing a ticket? toggle
As long as you are logged in with a LINE account, you can enjoy all the features of LINE MUSIC. However, playback is limited to 30 seconds per track.

I want to cancel auto renewal for my Premium/Basic Plan free trial toggle
If you're using a Premium or Basic Plan free trial that was issued with the purchase of a Subscription Plan (auto-renewal), your subscription payments will automatically begin once the free trial period has ended. You can cancel auto renewal during the free trial period by referring to the steps below.
Note:
- After canceling your plan, you can still use it until the period expires.
- The steps to cancel auto renewal vary depending on your method of payment.

For payments made via Google Play:
1. Start the Play Store app.
2. Tap the icon at the top left of the home screen > Subscriptions.
3. Select LINE MUSIC, then tap Cancel subscription.

Coupons

What are coupons? toggle
Coupons are free tickets from promotional offers held by LINE MUSIC, or other companies.

If you clear conditions, you will be issued a coupon.

There will be certain goals or conditions to satisfy, such as joining a relevant promotion or event and purchasing a specific item.

How do I use a coupon to have a ticket issued? toggle
You will need to verify the coupon in order to have a ticket issued.

The steps to verify a coupon differ depending on your device. Please refer to the relevant steps below:

Android
1. After logging in to LINE MUSIC, tap Library.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top left of the screen to enter your account page.
3. Tap Shop at the top-right of the screen > SPONSOR.
4. Tap Verify for Ticket for the coupon you would like to use.
5. Enter the coupon code to have a ticket issued.

PC
1. On your PC, log in to the browser version of LINE MUSIC.
2. Click Coupon Ticket at the top right of the screen and select the relevant coupon.
3. Enter the coupon code to have a ticket issued.
