Sharing on LINE

Sharing music on LINE toggle
You can share the following LINE MUSIC content on LINE.

• Songs
• Albums
• Music videos
• Playlists
• Topics
• Artists

To share LINE MUSIC content:
1. Go to the content's page.
2. Tap "..." > Share > LINE Chatroom or LINE VOOM.
3. Select the friend or group you want to share with, or select LINE VOOM and enter the details you want to post.
4. Tap Share or Post.

Note: You won't be able to share content on LINE VOOM if you're using a version of LINE MUSIC earlier than 6.5.1. To use this feature, update the LINE MUSIC app to the latest version.

Can I play tracks in LINE chats? toggle
If only one track is shared, then it can be played back in a chat. Tap the triangle at the right of the share box to play the track.

If an album or playlist is shared, no play button will be show, and tapping the share box will lead you to the list page in LINE MUSIC.

Can I share tracks without purchasing a ticket or subscription? toggle
Yes, you can share tracks, as long as you are logged in with your LINE account.

You can tap the triangle play button on the right side of the shared box to play the track, as long as you have shared just one track. For shared albums and playlists, the play button will not be displayed and tapping on the box will take you to the LINE MUSIC app list page.

If the track(s) has been shared to an Android user, they will need to have LINE MUSIC installed.

Setting ringtones and ringback tones toggle
As long as you have a ticket, you can set ringtones and ringback tones on LINE as many times as you like.

If you don't have a valid ticket (i.e. you're using a free plan), you can only set a ringtone and ringback tone once a month.
Note: This restriction is reset on the first day of each month.

Setting purchased music as background music, ringtones, and ringback tones toggle
See the following information about how your purchased music can be set.

Background music
You can set a song as your profile's background music without having to purchase it.
Note: Purchased songs will also only play for 30 seconds.

Ringtones
Purchased songs can be set as a ringtone even if you don’t have a ticket.

Ringback tones
Purchased songs cannot be set as a ringback tone.

I can't send invitations toggle
You won't be able to send an invitation to a friend on LINE if they haven't turned the Unauthorized apps setting on in their settings.

To send an invitation to your friend, have them follow the steps below.

1. Start LINE.
2. From the Home tab, tap Settings > Notifications.
3. Turn the Unauthorized apps setting ON.
