Coins

About Coins toggle
Coins are a currency for purchasing songs in LINE MUSIC. However, they can no longer be used, as the sale of Purchase Only songs has ended.
Note: Coins cannot be transferred if you change to a device running a different OS. You can only use Coins with the OS they were purchased with.

Checking your Coin balance toggle
Important: You can no longer use Coins, as the sale of Purchase Only songs has ended.

To check your Coin balance: 
1. Tap Library > Settings > Coins.
2. Check the number of Coins at the top of the screen.

The number of Coins displayed includes the Coins you've purchased and any Bonus Coins you have. You can see your purchased Coins and Bonus Coins separately beneath the total Coin balance.

I can't use Coins toggle
Coins can no longer be used, as the sale of Purchase Only songs ended on April 4, 2022.

Purchasing Music

Songs purchased with Coins toggle
You can listen to purchased songs anytime while you're still using LINE MUSIC. You can also listen to them offline if you don't have a ticket or aren't connected to a network, or set them as your ringtone on LINE.

The bit rate for purchased songs is 320 kbps.

Where can I see my history of purchased music? toggle
To see your purchase history: 
1. Tap Library.
2. Tap Settings > Purchased Music.
3. Tap Purchase History.

How do I re-download purchased music I've deleted? toggle
Purchased music is linked to your LINE account and will remain in your purchase history, even if you delete a song.

You can view all of your songs and albums with the steps below and re-download them any time you like.

1. Tap Library > Settings.
2. Tap Purchased Music.
3. Tap Purchase History.

Transferring your purchased music to another device toggle

To transfer your purchased music: 

1. Tap Library > Settings > Purchased Music > Purchase History.

2. Save the songs and albums you want.

Note: Make sure everything was saved by going to Library > Downloads.

3. Connect your smartphone to your PC.

4. Start the file manager.

5. Tap Android > line music > purchase > files.

Note: Only the songs saved from version 5.3.0 or later will appear in the "files" folder in step 5. If you had songs saved from previous versions, please save them again with version 5.3.0 or later to make them appear in the "files" folder.

Can I play songs purchased on LINE MUSIC with other apps? toggle
Yes, you can play songs purchased on LINE MUSIC with apps like Windows Media Player or iTunes after exporting them as files.

To view the songs you've purchased, please see this Help article.

I can't download songs that I purchased on my Galaxy device toggle
If you can’t download purchased songs, please try turning off the download booster setting on your device.

To change your settings, follow the steps below.
Note: The steps and display may differ depending on the model of your device.

1. Go to your device's Settings.
2. Tap More connection settings.
3. Turn Download booster OFF.
