Canceling

Canceling a subscription plan (auto-renewal) toggle
Unless you cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription plan yourself, you will continue to be charged. If you want to cancel your current plan, please do so at least 24 hours before it is set to expire.
Note: Even after canceling your plan, you can still use the service up until the expiration date.

The steps to cancel your subscription vary depending on where you purchased the plan and your payment method, so make sure to check this information first.

Checking where you purchased your plan and your payment method
• In the LINE MUSIC app:
Follow the steps below for the version of LINE MUSIC that you're using.

- LINE MUSIC versions other than 5.0 (earlier versions)
1. Start the LINE MUSIC app.
2. At the bottom right of the screen, tap Library.
3. Tap Settings > Ticket Info > Purchase History.
4. Check where you purchased your plan and your payment method under the plan name.

- LINE MUSIC version 5.0
1. Start the LINE MUSIC app.
2. At the bottom right of the screen, tap Library.
3. Tap Settings > My Ticket/Shop > My Ticket > Purchase History.
4. Check where you purchased your plan and your payment method under the plan name.

• On the browser version of LINE MUSIC:
1. Go to LINE MUSIC in your browser.
2. Click Login.
3. Click your account (profile) name.
4. Click the plan name displayed under your account name > Purchases.
5. Check where you purchased your plan and your payment method under the plan name.

Canceling your subscription plan
• For plans purchased on LINE STORE:
1. Go to LINE STORE.
2. Click Login.
Note: If you're using a smartphone, tap the menu icon at the top left of the screen > Log in.
3. Click Account page > Subscription plans.
Note: If you're using a smartphone, tap the menu icon > Account page > Purchase history > Subscription plans.
4. Under LINE MUSIC, select Disable auto-renewal to the right of your plan > OK.
Note: If the Disable auto-renewal button does not appear, auto-renewal has been canceled.

• For plans purchased in the LINE MUSIC app:
Check the link below for your device for the steps to cancel your subscription.

Can I play full songs without a paid plan? toggle
Yes, you can listen to any song in its entirety once a month.

Without a paid plan, you can:
• Play over 60 million full songs.
• Listen to full songs from your favorite artists.
Note: Some restrictions apply.
• Check out the latest popular new songs.
• Play full playlists and lists of ranked songs.
• Play full music videos from popular artists.

Note: After a song has been played once, it can only be played for 30 seconds until the next month.

Coupons

What are coupons? toggle
Coupons are free tickets from promotional offers held by LINE MUSIC, or other companies.

If you clear conditions, you will be issued a coupon.

There will be certain goals or conditions to satisfy, such as joining a relevant promotion or event and purchasing a specific item.

Using coupons to get tickets toggle
To have a ticket issued using a coupon, you need to verify the coupon first.

To verify a coupon and have a ticket issued: 
1. Access the verification page from the QR code or URL on the coupon.
2. Access LINE MUSIC and enter the code you were issued to get a ticket.
3. Click your account name/profile photo at the top left of the screen > 会員情報 (My Membership), and check the ticket details.
Note:
- A ticket cannot be issued if it has expired.
- A ticket will not be issued if the maximum number of tickets to be issued has been reached.

Purchasing

Can I change a ticket purchased in the LINE MUSIC app to a LINE STORE ticket? toggle
You may incur duplicate charges if you purchase a ticket on LINE STORE while you are using a ticket purchased in the LINE MUSIC app.

We recommend canceling the ticket you purchased in the LINE MUSIC app, then waiting until it is no longer valid before purchasing a ticket on LINE STORE.

Checking how long a ticket is valid for and the next payment date toggle
To check how long the ticket you're currently using is valid for and the next automatic renewal payment date: 
1. Log in to LINE MUSIC.
2. Click your account name/profile photo at the top left of the screen.
3. Click 会員情報 (My Membership).

About subscription plans toggle
A subscription plan (auto-renewal) is a payment method that automatically charges you every month from the day you start making payments.

Once you make a payment, you can use LINE MUSIC and not have to worry about renewing your plan until you decide to cancel your subscription.
Note:
- If you're transferring your account to a device running a different OS, please cancel your auto-renewal subscription in advance.
- Tickets purchased on LINE STORE can be transferred between devices running different OSes.

Purchasing tickets toggle
You can purchase a ticket on the LINE MUSIC app or on LINE STORE.

To bring up the LINE STORE purchase screen from LINE MUSIC for web browsers: 
1. Log in to LINE MUSIC.
2. Click your account name/profile photo at the top left of the screen.
3. Click 会員情報 (My Membership).
4. Click プラン登録 (Register plan) on the 会員情報 (My Membership) screen.

You can also bring up the purchase screen by selecting プラン登録 (Register plan) at the bottom left of the screen.
Note: You cannot restore tickets that you purchase as a guest user, so make sure to purchase a ticket after logging in to LINE MUSIC.

What will happen to the tickets I've purchased if I don't use the service? toggle
Whether you utilize the service or not, use of a ticket will automatically begin in the order it was purchased in. Tickets can only be used until their designated expiration date.

Plans

What is a Premium Plan? toggle

A Premium Plan allows you to stream as much music as you like, and use everything the LINE MUSIC service has to offer with no restrictions for one month.

Note: You will be charged on the same day of every month from the day you made your purchase.

 

Once you purchase a Premium Plan, you will be able to conveniently use LINE MUSIC and not have to worry about renewing your plan until you decide to cancel your subscription.

Will I be charged for any payments if I have a free trial ticket? toggle
If you only have a free trial ticket, you will not be charged for an auto-renewal payment.

Note:
- If you purchase a subscription plan such as a Premium Plan while using a free trial ticket, you will be charged for auto-renewal payments after the free trial period has ended.
- If you changed your device, Apple ID, or LINE account, you may still have a subscription left over from a ticket you purchased before.
