To link your PayPay account, the identity verification information (name in katakana, date of birth) for both services must match exactly.
If you can't link your account, it may be because:
• There were extra spaces included in your name in katakana.
Note: Make sure there are no extra spaces included before or after your name.
• Characters of different sizes were used for your name in katakana. For example, if your name is John and is written as ジョン, don't write it as ジヨン.
Note: If your name is registered differently in katakana on PayPay and LINE BITMAX, you will need to unify how your name is written on both services.
• The order of your last, middle, and first names is different.
Keep the above points in mind and check for any differences in the identity verification information between the two services.
You can check your LINE BITMAX identity verification information from the LINE BITMAX main menu >
More >
Manage account >
Manage personal information.
If you need to change the katakana for your full name registered to LINE BITMAX, see the following Help article.
