Friend referral coupons

The way users can get a friend referral coupon differs depending on whether they are the referrer or the referred user.

Referrer: Users who have added the LINE official account they want to refer to someone as a friend
The referrer can get a coupon when the referred user adds the LINE official account as a friend through the friend referral page.

Referred users: Users that have never added the referred LINE official account as a friend
During the referral period, referred users can get a coupon when they add the LINE official account as a friend from the friend referral page.

If a referred user adds a LINE official account through means other than the friend referral page, they will not be able to get a coupon.

Users can get a coupon either by adding the relevant LINE official account and becoming a referrer, or by being introduced by a referrer.

When creating a friend referral coupon, you can allow users to get multiple coupons by selecting Add limit/No limit next to Number available under Coupon settings.

If you select Add limit, you can set a number between 1 and 30.
Note: Selecting 1 with Add limit will only allow users to get one coupon.

Usage limit: The number of times the coupon can be used by users

Even after the referral period ends, a coupon that was received within the referral period is still valid from the date it was received until the end of the set validity period.

You can check the friends that were added through referrals with the steps below.

If you're only using friend referral coupons:
Click Insights > Friends > Friend path, and check next to Coupons.

If you're also using other coupons:
1. Click Insights > Coupons, and select the coupon you want to check.
2. Check Number received for Referred users under Path.
