Creating an account

Creating new LINE official accounts toggle
You can create a new LINE official account using one of the methods below.

To create a new account using LINE Official Account Manager for web browsers:
2. Select the account type you want to create.
3. Log in to LINE Business ID.
4. Fill in the required fields and choose Continue.
5. On the Check application page, select Submit.

To create a new account from the LINE Official Account app:
1. Download the LINE Official Account app for iOS or Android.
2. Tap Log in or sign up with LINE or Log in or sign up by email.
3. Tap Create an account.
Note: If you already have a LINE official account, tap the menu icon at the top left of the screen > Create new account.
4. Fill in the required fields and tap Continue.
5. Tap Create account.

From the LINE app:
1. Tap the VOOM tab > your profile at the top of the screen.
2. Tap Create official account.
Note: If you don't have an email address registered, please register one by going to Settings > Account > Email address.
3. Tap Create a new account.
4. Fill in the required fields and tap Create account.

You cannot create verified accounts from the LINE Official Account app. If you'd like a verified account, you need to apply after creating an unverified one.

How many official accounts can I create? toggle
Up to 100 accounts (Verified or Unverified) can be created with one LINE Business ID.

Accounts created using the LINE Official Account app are Unverified, and need to pass LINE's verification process to become Verified. 
Note: Applications are currently only being accepted for Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. Verified accounts are not being issued for other countries or regions at this time.

Verified account reviews take 5-10 business days to complete.

The LINE official account I created doesn't appear in search results toggle
Unverified accounts (those for businesses or individuals that have not been reviewed and verified by LINE) do not appear in search results on the Internet or in the LINE app.

If you have a Verified account and it doesn't appear in search results, your "Show account in searches" setting may be turned OFF.

To check/change your display settings, follow the steps below.

From the LINE Official Account app:
1. Select the account you want to configure from the Accounts list.
2. Tap Settings > Account.
3. Check/change the setting for "Show account in searches."

From LINE Official Account Manager for web browsers:
1. Select the account you want to configure from the Accounts list.
2. Click Settings > Account settings.
3. Check/change the setting for "Show account in searches."
