Reward cards

About reward cards toggle
Reward cards let you issue (and manage) points on LINE as an incentive for users to purchase goods, use services, or visit your store.

Using LINE solves the usual problems that come with physical point cards; users won't refuse them because they take up space, and you don't have to spend money printing them. Also, because they're digital, you have access to features for viewing and managing statistical data, making it easier to efficiently earn repeat customers.

Issuing reward cards can be a useful tool for attracting new customers too, since you can send them to users who haven't even visited your store yet.

Creating reward cards toggle
To create a new reward card, follow the steps below.

From the LINE Official Account Manager app:
1. Tap the Home icon > Reward cards > Reward card settings.
2. Tap Create reward card and configure each item.
3. Tap Save draft or Save and publish card.

From the browser version of LINE Official Account Manager:
1. Click Home > Reward cards.
2. Go to Reward card settings and configure each item.
3. Click Save draft or Save and publish card.

Awarding points toggle
Users are awarded points when they scan your QR code. You can display codes using one of the methods below.

• Display a QR code on smartphones and other devices
Use the LINE Official Account Manager app to show a one-time QR code for users to scan.

• Print out QR codes
Create and print out a QR code with LINE Official Account Manager for users to scan.
Note:
- To issue points with a printable QR code, you need to configure your Display settings using LINE Official Account Manager in advance.
- One-time QR codes cannot be printed out for display.

Making changes to published reward cards toggle
You can change the details for reward cards after they've been published, except for their expiration dates.

You cannot, however, make changes to reward cards that have been received by users or vouchers that have been set or claimed.

If you want to void a reward card that has already been received or vouchers that have been set or claimed and then change the details, please select Suspend card on the "Reward card settings" screen and create a new reward card.
Note:
-A suspended reward card cannot be republished.
- After a reward card has been suspended, a new one cannot be published until the following day.

Suspending reward cards toggle
Before you suspend a reward card, please read the following important information:

• Once you've suspended a card, it cannot be restored or republished.
• All of the settings and information for the card will be deleted, including any points accumulated by users.
• A new reward card cannot be published until the day after the current card is suspended.

To suspend a reward card, please follow the steps below.

From the LINE Official Account Manager app:
1. Tap the Home icon > Reward cards > Reward card settings > Suspend card.
2. Configure each item and tap Suspend card.

From the browser version of LINE Official Account Manager:
1. Click Home > Reward cards > Settings > Suspend card.
2. Configure each item and click Suspend card.

You can check information for your reward cards, such as the number of valid cards, issued cards, and awarded vouchers (tallied up until the previous day), by going to Insight > Reward cards > Cards and points.
