Service info/Opening an account

Margin trading refers to paying a certain amount of money (Japanese yen) as a deposit to borrow assets (e.g. cash, crypto assets) for buying/selling.

The LINE BITMAX Crypto Asset Margin Trading Service offers margin selling, but not margin buying.

LINE BITMAX also lets you sell on margin at up to 2x leverage.

In order to use the LINE BITMAX Crypto Asset Margin Trading Service, you need to create a LINE BITMAX account and open a margin trading account.

To open a margin trading account, follow the steps below.

Note: After you apply to open a margin trading account, we will review your application.

1. On the LINE BITMAX main menu, tap Accounts > Margin account.

2. Confirm the service details and tap OK.

3. Tap Confirm on the right side of the screen, then enter the passcode you set for LINE BITMAX.

4. Make sure that your information is correct, then tap Update information.

5. After you've confirmed the service explanations and terms of use, tap Open account.

See the steps below for the type of trade you want to make.

Making margin sell trades

1. On the LINE BITMAX home screen, tap the Margin trading tab.

2. Select the crypto asset you want to trade.

3. Enter your order price/amount.

Note: If you select Market order, only enter the order amount.

4. Choose whether or not to make a combination order.

5. Tap Next, check your order details, and tap OK.

6. Enter your passcode.

Making closing buy trades

1. Select the crypto asset you want to trade on the LINE BITMAX home screen.

2. Tap Margin trades/Order history > Position.

3. Tap Go to closing buy order screen at the bottom of the position you want to make a closing buy trade for.

4. Tap the down arrow above the crypto asset rate and select an order method.

5. Enter your order price/amount.

Note: If you select Market order, only enter the order amount.

6. Tap Next, check your order details, and tap OK.

7. Enter your passcode.
