Purchasing Music

Songs purchased with Coins toggle
When you purchase songs you can enjoy them anytime until you stop using LINE MUSIC, and you can listen to them offline, even if you don't have a ticket or aren't connected to a network. You can also set them as your ringtone on LINE.

The bit rate for purchased songs is 320 kbps.

Can I play songs purchased on LINE MUSIC with other apps? toggle
Yes, you can play songs purchased on LINE MUSIC with apps like Windows Media Player or iTunes after exporting them as files.

How to purchase songs toggle
To purchase songs:
1. Tap  to the right of the song you want to purchase.
2. Tap the green icon that shows the price.
3. Tap Purchase.
4. After the payment is completed, tap OK on the pop-up.
Note: This step will be skipped if the Auto Download Purchased Songs option is turned ON.

Once a song is downloaded, you can play it without being connected to a network.

How to purchase albums toggle
To purchase albums:
1. Tap the album you want to purchase.
2. Tap the price that appears at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Purchase.
4. After the payment is completed, tap OK on the pop-up.
Note: This step will be skipped if the Auto Download Purchased Songs option is turned ON.

Once an album is downloaded, you'll be able to play it without being connected to a network.

Issues with purchased music toggle

How do I re-download purchased music I've deleted? toggle
Purchased music is linked to your LINE account and will remain in your purchase history, even if you delete a song.

You can view all of your songs and albums with the steps below and re-download them any time you like.

1. Tap MY MUSIC > Settings.
2. Tap Purchased Music.
3. Tap Purchase History.

Transferring your purchased music to another device toggle

To transfer your purchased music: 

1. Tap MY MUSIC > Settings Purchased Music > Purchase History.

2. Save all of your songs and albums.

Note: Make sure everything was saved by going to My Music Downloaded Music.

3. Connect your smartphone to your PC.

4. In iTunes, click the smartphone icon > File Sharing (under Settings).

5. From LINE MUSIC Documents, select the "purchased music" folder > click Save To.

6. Save the folder you selected in step 5 in the appropriate location on your PC.

 

After saving the folder, you’ll be able to move your purchased music files to another device.
