What happens if I use an old address to receive crypto assets after the grace period? toggle
If you use an old address, the crypto assets will not appear in your wallet and the transaction cannot be canceled.

Please take care when sending assets to BITMAX from external wallets after the grace period, as we will be unable to offer support if any issues occur.

A six-month grace period is scheduled to be applied for receiving crypto assets at new addresses, starting from the day that the addresses change. We will announce the details as soon as they have been determined.

What happens if I use an old address to receive crypto assets? toggle
Crypto assets that are sent during the grace period for new addresses will automatically appear in your wallet. In such cases, you will be notified of the new address via the BITMAX Notifications (BITMAXお知らせ) official LINE account.

Please make sure to delete or update your old addresses on any external exchanges or wallets that you use within the grace period.

The grace period for the crypto assets below is scheduled to be applied until Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

For the following crypto assets, the grace period is scheduled to be applied until Friday, September 24, 2021.

Important notes about Ethereum (ETH) toggle
The minimum amount required for receiving Ethereum (ETH) on BITMAX is 0.005 ETH. If you receive less than the minimum amount, the assets will not appear in your wallet.
Note: The assets will appear once additional deposits are made and the total is 0.005 ETH or more.

If you have less than 0.005 ETH at your old address, please contact BITMAX Customer Care using one of the methods below.

Deleting your BITMAX account toggle
You can delete your BITMAX account by tapping the More tab on the main menu > Manage account > Delete BITMAX account.
Note: Your trade history and balance cannot be restored once your BITMAX account has been deleted.

You cannot delete your BITMAX account if:
• The amount of crypto assets that you have (excluding LINK) is equal to or greater than the minimum amount that can be sent plus the sending fee.
• Your balance of Japanese yen is greater than the withdrawal fee.
• You have any pending transactions.
• You have any pending withdrawal requests.

If you can't delete your BITMAX account, try doing so after selling your crypto assets, sending them to another wallet, or withdrawing them as Japanese yen.

Can I use my old BITMAX account? toggle
When you delete your BITMAX account, all of your account information is deleted along with it, including your previous trading history and remaining balances. Once account information has been deleted, there is no way to recover it.

Identity verification toggle
You need to verify your identity with documentation before you can make exchanges on BITMAX. This includes depositing/withdrawing Japanese yen and buying/selling crypto assets.

Please prepare one of the following forms of identification: 
• Driver's license
• Residence card
• Special permanent resident certificate
• Japanese passport
Note: Your application will not be accepted if we cannot confirm the "Information on Bearer" page.

Minimum receivable amount toggle
You need to receive a minimum amount of Ethereum (ETH) on BITMAX for the coins to appear in your wallet. If you receive less than the minimum amount, the coins will not appear in your wallet until your ETH total has reached the minimum amount.

Minimum receivable amount for Ethereum (ETH): 0.005 ETH
Note: There is no minimum receivable amount set for the other crypto assets available on BITMAX.

If you received less than the minimum amount before your address changed, please make additional deposits to your old address during the grace period.
Note: Making additional deposits to your new address will not make the balance in your old wallet appear.

I accidentally sent Ripple (XRP) from an external wallet to my BITMAX account with no tag toggle
When sending Ripple (XRP) to BITMAX, make sure you set the address and tag correctly in the wallet you're sending the coins from.

If the address or tag is incorrect or missing, there will be no way to confirm that Ripple (XRP) was received, and there may be no way to undo the transaction. Please understand that LVC Corporation will not assume responsibility for such cases.

To share your address: 
1. On the BITMAX main menu, tap Wallet > Receive under the relevant crypto asset.

Depending on network conditions, it may take some time for crypto assets sent from an external wallet to appear in BITMAX.

If the crypto asset still hasn't appeared in your BITMAX wallet 24 hours after the status in the sending wallet indicates that it has been sent, please contact us using one of the methods below.
Note: If you send Ripple (XRP) without entering a tag, it may not show up in your wallet.

Sending crypto assets toggle
To send crypto assets to wallets at external exchanges, follow the steps below.
Note:
- There is a fixed service charge.
- Japanese yen cannot be sent on BITMAX. Please use LINE Pay to make Japanese yen transactions after withdrawing it.

1. On the BITMAX main menu, tap Wallet.
2. Tap Send for the crypto asset you want to transfer.
3. Enter the amount that you want to send.
4. Enter the address or scan the QR code of the wallet you want to send the crypto asset to, then tap OK.
5. Enter your LINE Pay passcode.
6. Enter the verification code on the details screen and tap OK.

Note: There are currently no features for sending/receiving LINK, but they are being prepared for release in the future.

Depending on network conditions, it may take some time for crypto assets sent from BITMAX to appear in an external wallet. When the transfer amount can be confirmed in your wallet, the BITMAX official account will send you a chat message on LINE.

There are no limits for sending/receiving crypto assets between BITMAX accounts or receiving crypto assets from external wallets.

However, please keep in mind that you can only send up to the equivalent of JPY 1,000,000 a day to external wallets.
Note: You need to verify your identity with E-KYC to send crypto assets to an external wallet.

What is an insider? toggle
An insider is someone who has or is likely to have crypto asset-related information.

Crypto asset-related information refers to anything having to do with undisclosed important information related to BITMAX or regarding crypto assets handled or intended to be handled by BITMAX, as well as information that could affect one's decision to purchase, sell, or trade crypto assets.

For example, the following types of people are likely to be insiders:
1) An issuer or manager of a crypto asset handled by BITMAX
2) An associated company (as defined in article 8.8 of the "Regulation for Terminology, Forms and Preparation of Financial Statements") of a person described in 1)
3) A major shareholder of 1) or 2)
4) An officer of 1) or 2)
5) A person who formerly qualified as 4) within one year
6) A spouse or cohabitant of 4)
7) An employee of 1) or 2)
8) A major shareholder, officer, or employee who conducts crypto asset-related trading for business (regardless of registration or whether they are in Japan or abroad)

If you qualify as an insider, you cannot make transactions using crypto asset-related information. BITMAX monitors for insider trading and other inappropriate transactions, and will alert or warn users if it is determined that any such activity has occurred. We also reserve the right to limit trading or cancel accounts at our discretion.

Receiving flexible lending interest toggle
Processing for interest payment begins when additional lending starts, or when lending ends at 12:00:00 pm (if you've applied for a return). Interest is paid on the same day or within seven days at the latest.

If you apply for a return of the full loan amount:
You'll be paid all of the crypto assets you lent with interest.

If you apply for a partial return:
You'll be paid the amount of crypto assets you applied for as well as the interest you've accrued up to that point.

If you apply for additional lending:
You'll be paid all of the interest you've accrued up to that point.

I can't apply to lend crypto assets toggle
If you can't apply to lend crypto assets, check the amount that you're trying to lend. Each crypto asset has a set maximum and minimum amount that can be lent. For details about lendable crypto asset amounts, see this Help article.

Also, there is a set maximum borrowing limit for the entire company as a risk management policy. If the company reaches its maximum borrowing limit, we may stop accepting loans without notice.

Canceling loan applications toggle
You can cancel a loan application during the daily application period (9:00:00 am - 8:59:59 am the following day).
Note: Return applications can be canceled before applications are accepted at 9:00:00 am.

To cancel a loan application:
