Will my avatar be deleted if I delete and re-install the app?

You can continue using your avatar after changing to a new device or reinstalling the app by logging in to LINE PLAY using the email address registered to LINE or your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Players who are logged in using the Play Now! option must authorize their account using an email address, or else their avatars will be permanently lost as soon as the application is uninstalled.

How do I start LINE PLAY?

LINE PLAY is a service which uses your registered information from your LINE account. An email address must be registered on the LINE app. To register your email address, please refer to the following Help articles.

Android

If you are using a device with the LINE app installed, on the LINE PLAY login screen tap LINE.

If you are using a device without the LINE app installed, on the LINE PLAY login screen tap Another LINE ID, and enter the email address and password you registered to LINE.

You can also use Facebook or Twitter to create a LINE PLAY account.

1. Tap Facebook on the LINE PLAY login screen.

2. Verify your account on the Facebook app or browser.

1. Tap Twitter on the LINE PLAY login screen.

2. Enter your Twitter ID and password to log in.

How do I delete my account?

We are sorry to see you go.

You can delete your account by deleting your avatar. Please note that once you delete your avatar, all data such as your purchased Gems, Extra Hearts, items and friends list will be deleted completely.

An avatar cannot be recovered once deleted, so please think through you decision carefully.

You can delete your avatar by doing the following:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Profile, then Delete Avatar.
3. Read the warning message. If you are sure you want to delete your avatar, enter the 4-digit code and tap Delete.

What happens if I delete my avatar?

If you delete your avatar, all your purchased Gems, Extra Hearts, items, friends and all other information will be deleted completely.

This will also happen if you delete the LINE account that you used to register to LINE PLAY.

While deleting your avatar will allow you to start over with a new gender or type, please be aware that ALL information associated with your old avatar will be deleted completely.

What is the connection between login accounts and LINE PLAY?

You can create a LINE PLAY account with one login account (LINE, Facebook or Twitter). If you create a new login account and log in to LINE PLAY, a new LINE PLAY account will be created.

Please be advised that if the login account is deleted, the linked LINE PLAY account will become inaccessible.

1. Tap MENU on the Home screen
2. Tap Profile
3. Tap Logout

Please note that by logging out and logging back in again, all of your chat history older than 3 months will be deleted.

LINE PLAY is a service that is linked to your LINE, Facebook, or Twitter account.

If you delete the LINE, Facebook, or Twitter account that is linked to your LINE PLAY account, your avatar and associated data will become inaccessible.

Why did my items disappear when I tried logging in with my Facebook or Twitter account?

Each LINE PLAY account can only be linked to one LINE, Facebook, or Twitter account. The account you logged in to using your Facebook or Twitter account is a different one from the account linked to LINE that you have been using so far. Even if you use the same email address for LINE, Facebook, and Twitter, LINE PLAY will still recognize them as separate accounts. A different avatar will be created for each set of login credentials.
