Diary

What is the Diary?

Your diary is your place to write down your everyday thoughts and feelings.

To access your diary, simply go to your room and tap the diary. You can even upload photos and write daily entries. If you’re part of the fashion-conscious crowd, make your diary your personal lookbook by posting photos of all your avatar’s outfits.

The diary can be seen by anyone who is allowed to enter your room, and these avatars can leave comments and stickers if they like your entries.

Can I delete my diary entries and comments?

Of course! You can edit or delete any diary entry by tapping Edit.

You can also delete any comments posted on your diary by other users, as well as any comments you left on other avatar diaries.

Tap the Delete button to the right of the comment you wish to delete.

You can also delete messages that others have left on your Guestbook as well as messages that you have left on others’ Guestbooks. Tap and hold on the Guestbook message and the Delete button will appear.

How many photos can I upload?

You may upload one photo per post. You can upload photos to your diary that you have taken with your device's camera as well as with the LINE camera app, or upload photos saved to your device's album.

Who can see my Diary?

All the avatars who visit your room can view your diary. If you go to More > Settings > Privacy and set “Allow everyone to visit” to OFF, then avatars who are not your friends will not be able to see your diary. Avatars that you have blocked also cannot see your diary.

Which social media accounts will diary comments be shared to?

1. Sharing to LINE Timeline
When logged in to LINE PLAY using a LINE account, the diary will be shared to your LINE account.

2. Sharing to Facebook and Twitter
You need to verify your account using Facebook or Twitter before you can share your diary to those services. A login pop-up will be displayed when trying to share to Facebook or Twitter. The diary will be shared to the Facebook or Twitter account you log in to at the pop-up.

If any diary entries or comments are found to violate our Terms of Use, or are found to be breaking any laws, they may be <strong>hidden</strong> from view.<br>Once they are hidden, the avatar who posted the entry, comment, or Guestbook mesage can delete them.

If you do not want to receive notifications when your friends write new diary entries, use the following steps to turn off New Posts From Friends.

1. Go to Home.

You can post in your diary when you get super rare items from the Gacha, or when you play the Lucky Spin. Some games allow you to post your ranks and results in your diary too.

The achievement of certain numbers of Hearts, such as 10 or 77, is also automatically posted in your diary.

Is it possible to tag other avatars when replying to a comment?

Follow this procedure to reply to an avatar that is not the author of the comment.

1. In the comment field, type @ followed by the name of the avatar you wish to tag at the beginning of the message.

2. Avatars with matching names will appear in a drop down list.

3. Select the avatar you wish to tag in your message from the list.

4. The name of the avatar you select will now appear at the beginning of your message.

5. Write your comment.

Avatars will be notified when you tag them in comments.

Why didn't the person I tagged receive a notification?

- You can only tag one avatar per comment. In order to reply to an individual avatar, ensure that the "@avatarname" (without quotation marks) is located at the very beginning of your message. The reply will not be sent correctly if you place the recipient's name in the middle or toward the end of the message.

- The avatar name of the avatar you are replying to must not contain any spaces.

- Do not include a space between the @ mark and the avatar name.

What are avatar photos?

Photos of your avatar are taken when you do either of the following.

- When you buy new fashion items at the Shop
- When you change your avatar's outfit at the Closet

You can then choose whether to save the photo in your diary.

The avatar's expressions and poses are selected randomly in each photo, so take more photos to see all the possible combinations.
