What can I do in My Room?

In My Room, you can change your avatar’s outfit, as well as decorate your room. You can even complete quests such as cleaning and watering plants etc., and receive bonus Gems.

1. Change your outfit at the Closet
Style your avatar the way you want at the Closet. You can even give them hats and jewelry!

2. Decorate your room at Room Deco
Here you can move your furniture and make way for new interior items. Make your room look gorgeous today!

3. Go shopping
We have a huge selection of clothing, accessories and furniture for you to choose from. You can even purchase gifts for your friends to brighten up their day! The Gacha shop also features many rare items that you can’t get anywhere else.

4. Create your own Diary
Take photos and share them. Tell everyone your thoughts and feelings. You can also leave comments and stickers on other people’s diary entries.

5. Quests
Cleaning the furniture in your room, watering the plants, taking a rest on the couch and grabbing a bite to eat – it’s all in a day’s work for your avatar!

Who can visit My Room?

If you have not switched off Allow everyone to visit, then all users, except those that you have blocked, can visit your room.

What do the icons floating above some of the items mean?

The icons floating above items show how your avatar can interact with them. It may be a task to do or something your avatar craves.

1. Quests
Cleaning the furniture in your room, watering the plants, taking a rest on the couch and grabbing a bite to eat – it’s all in a day’s work for your avatar! Every quest you complete will earn you bonus Gems. You can keep track of the number of times you do a specific task in any day by going to My Room and tapping the Gem total on the top right.

2. Do stuff with your avatar
When you’re walking your avatar around the room, different icons may appear above their heads. You may see a bar of soap, a chair, or even a meal icon. Try doing the corresponding action to get some bonus Gems.

What does the heart icon next to my friends' avatar's head represent?

If you tap the heart icon next to an avatar's head, that avatar will receive a Heart.

Avatars receive bonus Gems each time they receive Hearts.

If avatars who are logged in using the "Create avatar (Free)" option send Hearts, the avatar that receives those Hearts will only receive Bonus Gems if the sender has authorized their account using an email address.

For additional information, tap the Quests button on your Home or My Room screens.

What are random visits?

This feature allows you to visit other avatars' rooms at random.

You can use the warp hole in the garden or tap Random on the Move menu while visiting other avatars' rooms.

If you do not want people who are not your friends visiting your room, please refer to this help article for instructions on how to switch off Allow everyone to visit.

Why is my avatar not moving to the location I want it to move it to?

If the room is packed full of furniture, you may experience some trouble moving your avatar to the desired location. Try shifting them to make way.

Why are the icons not disappearing?

The icons displayed above your avatar’s head will disappear when you complete the task that your avatar is craving. The best thing to do is to find a room where the item your avatar needs is placed. When you enter a room, look around for an item displaying the same icon as the one above your avatar’s head.

If the icon still does not disappear, please check your network connection. Please try other connections such as Wi-Fi/4G LTE, and if it still remains, please restart the app.

How do I invite someone to a room party?

1. Tap the bottom right menu in your room, then Room Party.
2. Select the friends to invite from your friends list, then tap the Invite button.
3. When your friends receive your invitation, they can tap the pop-up message to visit your room.
4. When your friends arrive, you will get a pop-up message. Tap Greet to start the room party. After greeting them, you’ll be able to see the friends who have come to visit.

If you do not tap the Greet button at the pop-up message informing you of your friend’s arrival, the room party will start automatically if you leave and reenter your room while your friend is there.

I was invited to a room party. How do I go to the room?

1. If you receive a party invite pop-up, tap Visit Now to go to your friend’s party.
2. If you did not receive the invite pop-up, tap the notification shown at the top of the screen for a certain period of time to go to the room party.
3. Tapping the room party invite message from the What’s New section will not take you to the room.
Note: Room party invites are only valid for 10 minutes after they are received. If you do not visit the party within 10 minutes of receiving the message, the invite will be cancelled and you will no longer be able to join the party.

How do I complete the Hello quest?

When does a room party end?

If you started the room party, tap the Manage button at the top right of your room and select End Party to send your friends back to their Homes and end the party.

If all members, including yourself, leave the room, the party will end automatically.

How do I see my room party chat history?

Chat history in room parties is not saved.

You can scroll through the chat message window at the bottom of the screen to view older messages. However, once you leave the room that you are in, you will no longer be able to view previous messages even if you enter the room again later.

However, where required by the law, we can provide chat history for a certain period of time if requested accordingly.

Can I change the size of my room?

You can change your room's size in the Renovation Shop.

To get to the shop, go to Shop > Renovation from the home screen. You can also get there from the Shop button on the Room Deco Screen. From the shop, purchase a room size from the first floor category menu.

After changing your room size, all items in your room except your door, diary, flooring, and wallpaper will be removed and returned to your inventory.

Tips

You cannot purchase the same room size as your current room

Room sizes cannot be recycled.

Once you have your new room size, you can decorate it with all the items you had in your old room.
