How do I add a friend?

Tap the thumbnail of the avatar you want to add, or the avatar itself if you are in its room, to display a popup of its profile. Tap the Add button to send it a request. You will be added to each other’s friends lists once your request is accepted, so keep your fingers crossed!

Can I keep a friend request on hold?

Please go through the following steps if you wish to save a friend request:

1) Tap the ADD button at the top right hand corner of the FRIENDS screen

2) Tap and hold the icon for the player whose request you wish to save

3) Tap the "Save friend request" button that appears at the bottom of the screen

Is there a limit on how many friends I can have?

Yes. You can add up to 3,000 friends.

Once you reach this number, you will not be able to add any friends and other users will be prevented from adding you also.

Who are the avatars under the "Suggested" tab?

1. Request pending avatars

Avatars who have sent you a Friend Request.

2. New avatars

Avatars that have been created in the past 30 days will appear in your recommended friends list.

3. LINE & Facebook friends

If you are logged in through your LINE account, all of your LINE friends who have LINE Play avatars will appear in your recommended friends list.

If you are logged in through your Facebook account, all of your Facebook friends who have LINE Play avatars will appear in your recommended friends list.

4. Nearby avatars

Avatars that are located within a 20km radius of where you are will be displayed in your recommended friends list.

(This service is only available in some countries)

What is an Official Avatar?

Official Avatars are avatars who are affiliated with LINE PLAY.

When you send Hearts to an Official Avatar or perform tasks such as cleaning the furniture or watering the plants in an Official Avatar's room, you may receive a bonus that is a bit more than the normal reward for completing these Daily Tasks.

You can also get special items from the Gacha machines found inside Official Avatar's rooms.

How can I delete a friend?

Go to your Friends screen and tap and hold a friend's name. A prompt will appear at the bottom of the screen asking you if you wish to remove that friend from your list. Tapping that button will put you in editing mode, and make it possible for you to remove your friend.

Where can I get a Gacha Ticket for the Invite Friends Gacha?

From the main screen, go to FRIENDS > ADD FRIENDS > Invite and tap the Invite Friends button to send your friend an invitation link.

When the friend you invited installs LINE PLAY (via your link) and creates their avatar, a Gacha Ticket will be sent to your Mailbox.

- You must invite friends who have never installed LINE PLAY in the past in order to receive Gacha Tickets.

- Once your friend creates their Avatar, it may take some time for the Gacha Ticket to appear in your Mailbox.
